Best WLM Reviews
Was in town for work and came here on a whim when I found out that my friend was in town as well. The whole experience felt bizarre since first stepping foot into the restaurant. It seemed like the guy that waited on us just woke up or rolled out of bed. Everything on the menu had meat incorporated into the meals. My friends and I are all vegetarian so we ordered the breakfast sandwich without the meat just so we won't make anyone's lives difficult. We all got the side of cheesy potatoes as well.
When the food came out, we all looked at each other because of how extra basic the meal was. Bread, rubber eggs, and dried cheddar I think... It was dry and lacked flavor. The potatoes tasted like sour cream... It wasn't good. We all were looking around to see what everyone else ordered. I feel like my friends and I ordered the wrong thing...
An egg McMuffin with a hash brown would have been much more satisfying. We paid roughly $15 each for that... Sadly we won't be coming back. I hope they do well though...
We had a good time. The staff treated us very respectfully. The food was outstanding. It was a little more expensive than what we are used to but it was worth it for a special occasion.
I was in my way to Starbucks and passed them and I’m so glad that I stopped by. The building is so cute and very homey. The staff was so sweet and kind. I had a couple questions because I had never been there before and she was so kind and helpful. I got a takeout order of the breakfast sandwich and fruit and it was so good. It $11 for a huge sandwich and a small cup of fruit. After I ordered I went next door and got a coffee at haul and oats and when I got my coffee my order was done. I can’t believe I’ve never been here before.
The service and atmosphere are esceptional. The servers and managers are very personable and attentive to customer needs.
This time my daughter and I brought a craft to do on our date. We painted a nativity scene. They were very gracious to let us do that and provide extra cups of water and napkins for the paint!
The bathroom is clean and taken care of well. The water does get very hot though, that would be good to be adjusted down if possible.
The food is usually just okay in my opinion. I am usually dissappointed with the portions mainly. For the price, you do not get very much food. I got the breakfast charcuterie board on the latest visit. The food on it was tastey, but I was expecting to get to share it and have plenty for $14. It seemed skimpy to me and was mostly bread(a waffle, a piece of french toast, and a toasted croissant). I really expected there to be more fruit and for there to be some type of breakfast meat. I was shook and dissappointed that there was no meat.
Will not be back. When I went to pay I was trying to tell the owner which ticket was mine when she snapped at me. I will spend my money where owners are nice to their patrons.
Lovely vibe. Just showed up at the wrong time to dine in so we had to go somewhere else on a hot day when we just wanted to enjoy an indoor coffee place. The girl at the counter was pleasant in explaining they were closed even though the signage was not easy to spot to understand that without first walking in. Lots of places are understaffed these days so I understand. If you’re a local, definitely support this place!
We waited half an hour for them to take out order. The waitress did not come to our table but came to the other two in the room multiple times. The music was too loud and the decorations strange. When she finally came to take our order she apologized for the wait but it was too late of an apology to make up for our frustrations. When we went to order, they were out of what my boyfriend wanted to order and out of the cheesy potatoes side that we both wanted. We got the fruit instead and we both had breakfast sandwiches. They were subpar. Dry with not much flavor and certainly not worth the $12 per sandwich. The whole experience was not a good start to our day.
This was my second visit but my wife's first. The Big Cafe Breakfast is like a quiche without crust. Homemade strawberry jam was delicious. From the bite I had of my wife's montecristo, it was the best one I have ever tasted. They are frequently too heavy but this was light and very cheesy. In my wife's words, it was cheesy gooey madness. My wife particularly enjoyed the cheesy potatoes. Chocolate cobbler with a scoop of vanilla for dessert was yummy as well. Service was excellent.
