Best WLM Reviews
My only complaint is that the $10 sandwich could use at least two more pieces of ham. Additionally, a larger container for the salad dressing would be appreciated. I think next time we'll just opt for the coffee and pastries.
Baguettes are very good. Food is expensive but was surprised when they charged me $1 for “16 Oz To Go Cup” on a latte that is $5.99. I found that really petty.
Everything here is incredible. I love that its tucked away from the main road. The fruit tarts are absolutely perfect. The crust breaks with a fork, not softened because they've been sitting there too long having absorbed moisture from the filling. Vanilla bean specs visible in the filling. Fruit used always at peak ripeness. Macaroons that melt in your mouth and croissants that represent the epitome of buttery flakiness.
This place was really cute. Definitely on the pricier side but fun to try at least once. Directions to this place was excessively complicated. The worker was nice and masked but the cook in the back who also busted tables was not. The food was so-so. I got the chicken panini and although it was good, it was not spectacular by any means. My hot chocolate was good but not great (I did like that it was made with milk and not water though). Hubby ate the salmon croissant - he said it was good but also nothing great. He really enjoyed his coffee though. Outdoor seating was full but luckily they had very few people inside so it was still easy to social distance. Overall, we had a fun time eating French food but we probably won’t return.
Such a great spot! The tarts and almond croissant is my go to! The coffee is awesome as well! Give this great French cafe a try!
I’m being generous with the stars; but honestly I was hoping for a proper French omelette for $16, or at least just a well made omelette. This was basically just some fillings whipped into some eggs with no care taken to do it right. Too much air in the eggs with a lot of brown spots. Please, watch some YouTube videos and practice making omelettes, French or otherwise (they are different).
On a mid-afternoon on a Saturday the display case did not have much to choose from. We picked a peach tartlet and coffee drinks. The sitting area is spacious and they offered wifi access. We picked the area with windows and mixed seating (Parisian coffee table, then armchair/sofa switch) to sit and do research for next day adventures. Appreciated the cleanliness of the toilets and self-service water.
I really wanna love this place, but we didn’t have a great experience. All the pastries looked great. The croissant we had was fine, didn’t feel it was fresh. We went for brunch and the food was also okay but it took a really long time though. The ambiance was really nice.
