Lillo is currently the home of two cafe’s. Which is surprising, as there’s about as many people living in the small small town. But if you’re reading this, you’re probably aware of the size and history of Lillo. You’re just looking for a drink. This is exactly what you get at Café bij Marleen- a decent drink in a cosy, old school cafe.
They have a nice terras in the village square, underneath a big tree. On a sunny day, this is all you need!
Home made feel food, hot soup and tasty pancakes. Cozy cafe and a lovely friendly lady at the bar. It’s all you need on a windy day:)
Nice place to escape the hustle of Antwerp or to go for a break via the waterbus. Good service, good food, reasonably priced.

Het plein wordt gerenoveerd op dit moment. 20 mei 2023.
Maar we konden hier drinken en iets kleins te eten bestellen. De tomatensoep met broodje was zelf gemaakt en heerlijk. Vriendelijke bediening.
Bij Marleen is het altijd lekker en gezellig!
Alles wordt écht huisbereid : spaghetti, soepjes, rijstpap,...
Absoluut een aanrader als je naar het pittoreske Lillo komt!
