This was our first time trying this cafe. They have a great selection of pho and other Vietnamese soups. We enjoyed both of our soups and the pork skin rolls. Their homemade chili sauce that goes with the soups is excellent. We had great service as well.
They aren't always closed?
Idk why Google says that lol.
Just call them. Don't get mad if they are too busy. Just go down there and order in person.
This isn't Starbucks. Don't rush them. Perfection like this takes time.
Best duck Pho I have ever had in my life. The beef stew as well.
Try it. You will be a Bich Nga
lover for life! ????
Ps. Their front door does not work.
Use their backdoor.
Bich Nga offers a captivating Vietnamese dining experience with a warm ambiance and attentive staff. The robust Vietnamese coffee stood out, a perfect balance of strength and rich flavor. The Bún Bò Huê was a culinary highlight, featuring a flavorful broth and tender beef that exceeded expectations. With a commitment to freshness and authenticity, Bich Nga is a must-visit for those seeking a genuine taste of Vietnamese cuisine.
THE best Vietnamese food around. Incredible Bun thit nuong and com thit nuong, their grilled pork is unmatched. The pho is superior, the broth is so much richer than any other restaurant you’ll find Tampa/St. Pete. Family owned, the food is so authentic and the people are so kind. No other restaurant compares!
The food is absolute fire ????especially the bun bo hue XL, bun thit nuong, chao ga, pho— could go on and on. Bich Nga excels in quality, quantity (they do not skimp on the sate and fresh herbs), and price! Their biggest weakness is how slow their service is despite the restaurant not being busy. But, I am from TX, so if you’ve experienced Houston’s Chinatown service you would not be phased because the food may come out 40 min later, but it always comes out fresh and delicious. Expect to wait— it’s worth it!
This Vietnamese restaurant is amazing! The vegetables and herbs they use are very fresh. The proteins were seasoned and cooked correctly. The dishes we ordered were very aromatic and delicious. Our service was great. The owner is very friendly. They offer free teas, iced and hot. The ambiance is clean and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience immensely! But the best part was staring into my Gorgeous Husband's eyes. ????
A nice local atmosphere restaurant with a good selection of classic Vietnamese dishes. The no frills decor with the traditional Vietnamese musics tells you immediately you’re in for a good meal.
The Bun Rieu I had was a large portion with a very aromatic broth with rich flavor, it immediately reminded me exactly of how it tastes from when my mom made it.
My friend ordered the Mi Viet Tiem, and the duck was extremely tender and stripped right off the bone so easily. While also still smelling extremely good like the Bun Rieu.
The staff was very attentive and kind and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I’m not from the area, but if I was, I would certainly be a regular!
One thing you must understand if you eat here it is the MOST authentic Vietnamese food but it will TAKE TIME. There is a very elderly woman who is the head of the kitchen/owner and she has been perfecting her cooking of the dish Bun Bo Hue for the past few decades. Other items are good as well, but it seems to take longer to make. She told me herself she refuses to take any shortcuts and wants to provide food that is legit. But if you come here (especially on the weekends where all the Vietnamese families come) you should expect food to come out 30-60 mins. Grab a friend to chit chat, catch up on a show or hang outside while you wait for your steamy bowl of noodles to be crafted. If you come here keep an open mind to the service because the food is WORTH IT.
My family and I have been supported this older woman for the past 15 years! She is the real deal.
