Literally the best country fried steak I’ve ever had! I was in town for the total eclipse, and I just wanted some down home comfort food. This place delivers and more! The atmosphere is just so comforting and warm and perfect. They only serve country fried steak and mashed potatoes on Thursdays, but the lady made exception for me because I was only in town for a short time. She also gave me a sample of her deep fried. Catfish was absolutely amazing! This place is so worth the out of for the best comfort food I have had in years! I only regret that I didn’t get a helping of their coleslaw that was in the refrigerator because it looked delicious.I am quite sure that everything is 100% homemade do not pass by this area without going here!
Unfortunately, I was too busy completely enjoying my lunch that I forgot to take a picture of the country fried steak and mashed potatoes. You just have to take it on good authority that it’s amazing! :-)
Had a breaded tenderloin and fries. Nice little restaurant just outside of the downtown with a unique flare.
The food is wonderful... The staff is friendly... I will definitely be back.
Tenderloin sandwich was great. Got a Wesley burger, fried green tomatoes and fried banana peppers this time.
This is definitely a hidden gem. Food was top notch, and service was fantastic!

The staff is very nice. Takes care of our crew pretty quick when we come in to eat on our lunch break. Yesterday however the order of fries I got with my order were like extremely small for what I normally get. And paying over $10 for my food I was a little shocked. My fry order has never looked like that.
Over 10 yrs and 8 reviews, ordered basic burger with L,T, &O and regular onion rings.
Service was prompt & hot and the staff was nice!
Total $9.25 no drink a bit steep, pattie was frozen and tomato was paper thin. 5 onion rings batter, not sure fresh or frozen lacked.
5 guys cheeseburger and side $9.48
Will try again some time perhaps.
Waited 10 minutes for a table that was suppose to be reserved 1hr ahead of time and called to make sure still reserved. Then waited 15 minutes to get drink order taken but didn't get drinks right away waitress went to back for awhile and was unfriendly then 5 or more minutes later got our drinks and the special on the board was steak and we had heard the steak was good so thats what we all wanted and once we got to place our order for steak was told they were all out of steak without any notice or anything... We pretty well waited 45 minutes or more to not even eat here and was very unimpressed
