Have you ever wondered what it’s like to get a taste of Mexico without leaving your home town?
Ponder your thoughts no more friends. This place not only changed my life, but nourished my soul. The charisma from the staff and the great weather made me forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life and encouraged me to long for simpler times.
The sizzling sound of the fajitas was loud enough to wake up a younger you. Spend all your money here.
Have been ordering to go from here for YEARS because they have a solid consistently tasty fajita chimichanga. But today unfortunately, I made the mistake of dinning in! Smh
95% of the time I've picked up food, the restaurant has been empty. And now I see why. The tables were wobbly, the seats were uncomfortable, my utensils were dirty and my cup had a chip on the top to match the one on my waitresses shoulder!
If this all weren't bad enough, I was also repeatedly overcharged without any prior notice! It seems the owner arbitrarily decides to raise the prices on items WITHOUT updating the menu or requiring the wait staff to notify the customers!
If there is a listed price on the menu, that should ALWAYS be honored unless the waiter/waitress notifies the guest otherwise, which did NOT happen here, and there was not even an apology for the misinformation.
It felt like they were trying to sneak in any way to inflate the bill. They even charged me for salsa that already COMES with the chimichunga when ordering take out!
When I spoke to the waitress, and explained how the Chimichanga togo comes with a side of Guacamole, sour cream, AND the mild salsa she just lied to my face and said that was not the case!
Keep in mind, I've ordered take out from here for years, and the only reason I'm giving them 3 stars as opposed to 2, is purely because their chimichangas have been consistently good! Yet after this experience I'll never again be dining in, and it'll be a long while, if ever, before I do takeout. They do NOT appreciate their customers!
Food here is absolutely stellar. Originally was a bit worried when I came in and saw no one around. Was pleasantly surprised by both the price and the delicious food!
Me and mother went for the taco salad bowl, very flavorful, colorful and the edible bowl was cooked to light crunch perfection ????
Truly a slice of home.
This restaurant is a family owned and ran restaurant, that serves with respect and diligence!!
I found they do not have sweet tea, however their hot tea with some sugar packs was spectacular!!
Brilliantly, they served an entire plate of guacamole for the chips and guac appetizer.
You will see in the picture attached, I could not restrain myself as I cleaned the plate before I took the picture.....
I can say, if you are from New Mexico as I am, and expect a punch of spicy in your Chile, you will be disappointed.
That being said, it is no tomato sauce, you hear!?
It gave my New Mexican tastebuds, an amusing sizzle.
Worth the stop, absolutely!

As a native Texan and lover of Mexican/tex-mex food, I can say without a doubt this is probably the best and closest-to-authentic thing you'll get outside of the lower states. I had to literally refrain from coming here as often as I liked because of how good the food is.
