Best WLM Reviews

The ladies at the counter were very nice and the food was really tasty with huge portion sizes and good prices. We recommend the fried beef noodles and noodles with hot fried garlic sauce.
Staying and dining in Urbana/Champaign for over 20 years, La La Noodle has been the first choice of my husband and myself. Although this restaurant sounds like only serving noodles by name, it has actually a large variety (or almost the full spectrum) of professionally cooked Chinese dishes. The food is super delicious, and the price is very reasonable. The photos showing here are two of our favorite dishes: Fried Beef with Green Onions (葱爆牛肉) and Hot Spicy Whole Fish (香辣全鱼). As with many other dishes in this restaurant, they are nicely cooked and very tasty. I highly recommend La La Noodle for Chinese food. I think it is one of the best Chinese restaurants in this area, with lower price than most others.
If you don't mind a lady who seemed rude, environment that is not as fancy as the beautifully decorated restaurant. Just the flavor of the food, they are great.
I visited this place twice this week. I vaguely remember their dumplings look like homemade when we had the delivery. When I decided to dine in, order at the entrance, the lady proudly said that their dumplings are full home-made. Pork cabbage filling. 18dumplings for a bit over $10. It tastes great. It comes with vinegar but you can also ask for chili oil from the lady.
The filling was juicy and flavorful, the dumplings has chewy, thicker skin than frozen dumplings. It was great that I took my friend back there to try them too.
When I expressed to the lady that I really like their dumplings, shes nicer to me. Although the tone and her pitch may not sound great. Oh well, as an asian I guess I can just tell.
Oh their noodles, cold dishes are flavorful and taste like homemade(not sure), price is reasonable, and the portion is huge when I take some noodles to go.
Honestly the flavor of the food is just way better than certain fancy looking asian restaurants.
i got the noodles with hot fried garlic sauce and it was delicious! the price was great and it was a big portion. the wide noodles were so fresh and soft and soaked up the sauce, which was aromatic with fresh garlic, chili flakes, & scallion. the service was great and i would definitely go again!
The food is okay, but the middle-aged female cashier at the counter, wearing a hat and glasses, often has a very bad attitude. She judges your order, refuses some basic services, and even shouts loudly. Her service attitude is the worst I have ever seen on campus. This restaurant is about to close at the end of May, and I think it's a good thing because such a service attitude cannot continue to exist.
Food is super authentic and really tasty. The flavors are complex and fragrant. The food also isn’t as oily as other Chinese places which is super nice. The staff is also super nice and genuine. Bathrooms are dirty though.
Always great portion and very fair price. I love the cold rice noodles limited on Saturday. It will be nice if they got this more chewy texture and served in a regular daily basis.
This is the new store with the old Asian taste group. I have been a long time fan of Asian taste for 3-4 years. So here are some order recommendations if you are new here and love noodles. This is a really authentic and great place to eat noodles. I am Chinese and I will still eat here if it is opened in China. I saw many American people love here as well. So if you are curious about this place. Don’t hesitate, come and try yourself. If you like spicy flavor, their chili sauce is very good and you can add as many as you want.
Any noodle here without soup is amazing. Therefore, personally I don’t like 101-108 as much as their mixed noodles. However, I tried a few times 101(braised beef noodle soup)in their new place now and it is actually very good with the super aromatic broth. 205 and stewed pork bun are must tries.( No.2 in the graph.) If you feel most foods here are too greasy and want something light. Noodles with beef or chicken(206, 207), with 705 are choices for you. Also, if you like thick noodles, their pulled noodles are must tries. (210) If it is a cold day, flat bread with lamb (small)(601) will make your day.
Their rices turns out to be very balanced in meat ane vegetables and personally I like 401 most. Dumplings and wontons are all homemade. They taste ok.
Their new Dao xiao mian is coming to the official menu soon, it is really chewy and delicious.
I am graduating next year. I wish this restaurant the best.
