Solid group of people, extremely nice and no issues with driveshaft. Have been using them for years and don’t plan on stopping.
I drove all around Houston getting quotes for my 3 piece driveshaft (Ujoints & carrier bearings). This was the fourth place I stopped and the winner with the lowest quote ($580). I was excited to support this business because it is a mom & pop shop since 1966. They had their new grandchild in the lobby as well as family. Unfortunately the work performed was sloppy, by sloppy I mean: One carrier bearing beat in & bent up, the other carrier bearing so loose it doesn’t stay in place. Bolts put back on without their washers & Ujoints so packed with grease they needed much extra work to install. The loose carrier bearing had to be redone by another shop. Going to the cheapest shop isn’t worth the lack of quality. When picking up I asked the owner how my shafts looked, he admitted he had not inspected them himself. When the young man who performed the work helped me load up my shafts, I asked him the same question. His response and attitude was obvious he was underpaid and frustrated with his job. This young mans work should have been inspected before leaving this shop (my fault as well as the shop owners) They received two stars instead of one because of their quick turn around & charging me exactly what they quoted.
Charlie did another great job for us. I hadn't been there in 25 years and he took care of business like it was just yesterday. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. He is a true tradesman and great person to work with.
Friendly people, called me as soon as the project was done, work looked solid, and they were very reasonable in price. I would definitely use them again
In business since 1966 and it shows. All new quality parts and excellent installation. Half the price of a new shaft and much better quality. 2006 Dodge 4x4 long bed, so 3 piece massive shaft. Very please.
Very reasonable price and they did a great job on installing my u joints. Another great thing about the the company is that it's family run.
Great people. Had the part I needed and were very willing to sell it to me unlike Houston Drive train who would not sell me a part. I'm a repair shop manager and I relay on parts and vendors so we can complete repairs for our customers. I greatly appreciate C&T Driveshaft for their help.
