Had a major issue with the room, such that I could not stay. The owner was very apologetic and gave a refund. I know times are hard, but the room #23 needs serious attention. Bandaid holding curtain up, front of heater broken/missing parts. Floor damaged and holes need to be repaired. Hopefully these things will be corrected so the lodging can be as nice as the owners.
I should give it a 5 star rating though I won't be over the top. Enjoyable stay, customer service was great, clean rooms, comfortable, quiet and very inexpensive and especially if you're looking for somewhere to stay for a week or more. I know where I'm going to go for a room for now on. Also would like to give a Thanks to Lynn Hulsart for your kindness and courtesy. You are an amazing woman blessed to have met you.
This place is very dirty,we walked in the room and it looked like someone had missed the toilet or maybe a baby had taken its diaper off and wiped it all over the bathtub and there was cockroaches crawling on the sink. We immediately took our belongings back to the car and went back to the office and requested a refund but was beat,no refund. Never again will I go there. Bad service,filthy rooms. I am adding to my review of this business. My friend rented a room a couple nights ago and we was sitting, talking and I seen a bug, come to find out,it was bedbug's! This place needs shutdown. It's absolutely disgusting. Do not go there!
Nasty dirty rooms. Heat didn't work, and half of the rooms electric didn't work. Owners come in your room without knocking, has roaches, smells horrible, owners are the rudest people ever, can't leave room after 9pm, can't have guests, owners will call police, has no vending machines, wifi, ice, or room cleaning. They give you Windex, with no extra towels to use. If a towel or washcloth has any type of stain or dirt, they keep your deposit. I will never stay here again. Idk where the photos of the rooms were taken in their advertisement, but it's not at this motel
Stopped at this hotel on our trip across country. We like to stay at small hotels to support the local economy. This hotel was a disappointment due to the curtains unable to close completely as the hooks were off, the shower didn’t work. I tried to turn on the water and the knob came right off! So unable to turn the water on. There was not any coffee available in the morning either in the room or the lobby, which was||Locked. The reason I gave it a 3 is because the bed was really comfortable and there was a pleasant outside sitting area.
If you have no choice but to stay in El Dorado Springs then this place is your only option. If you can stay in Nevada. The owners have no pride in this place, the rooms are all non smoking but smell like smoke. They do not clean well, the towels, and wash cloths were thread bare and we went and bought our own. The pillows were tiny, bathtub did not run well and did not drain and the tub was dirty and had soap and shampoo left in in from the last guests. I've stayed in hotels for the same price that were sparkling clean and served breakfast. We could not connect to the wife despite the fact that we supposedly had the password.
Stayed years ago and it was quaint, clean and respectable. I arrived to a filthy front desk area that made me uneasy. I opened the door to my room to an odor only described as cat urine. The carpet was filthy, the pillows had black on them and the walls were splattered with something unknown. I immediately got my dog out of the room so her paws cold be wiped off. I tried to get my money back and was verbally attacked by the front desk man and a woman and a young boy. The were screaming at me to get off the property which my sister in law could hear from the phone. They called the police as I was standing against my car trying to find another hotel. The officer was very nice and implied I didn't want to stay there. They are very much aware of the problems there. The officer was very kind. I stayed in Nevada at a clean and welcoming hotel. It was well worth 20 miles. It is such a shame as that motel was very clean and nice years back.
Don't waste your money. Filthy, gross and I'm not very picky. Location happened to be where I needed it but will definitely drive a short distance next time to a decent hotel.
