Best WLM Reviews
This place is a hidden gem. The food was amazing, the omelette was tasty and full of flavor, their pancakes were light and fluffy and their hash brown was crunchy and not oily at all. The service was great and Amy was super nice and friendly. They offer a breakfast and a lunch menu which is perfect a visitor dropping by any time. Great place.
By The Sea has all the beachy cafe vibes you could ever want. It is seriously such a dreamy, cool place! There’s is a really nice covered patio out front where you can eat and literally listen to the sounds of the ocean waves from the beach right across the street! They have a lot of good breakfast options, and really reasonable prices. Our waitress was super sweet, I think maybe she was the owner? But both her and her husband work there and they were gems. The food was okay. To be honest, it looks better than it tasted in my opinion, but I still enjoyed the meal. The pancakes were huge and fluffy, but they didn’t have a ton of taste. I really liked the addition of the apples and cinnamon on them, that was unique and fun. Overall I just loved sitting at this quaint cafe, it was so peaceful and I would definitely come back!
One of my favorites for breakfast! Quaint little mom and pop cafe serving up huge delicious breakfast plates with a friendly smile. Sit inside or outside. Sun shades available outside. The view is pure bliss. Definitely a must go when you’re in Flagler Beach.
Beachfront, outdoor seating, excellent patty melt, delicious omelettes, great service. What’s more to like? Our server, Amy, was one of the best we have had in a long time. Go with her recommendations if you don’t know what to get!
Lovely cafe with outdoor seating by the sea. Very attentive and kind server. A lovely lady from Boston whose name we neglected to get.
I had the excellent bacon cheeseburger with home fries, ( kind of like a potato pancake), and Bob got the cheesesteak. He loved his, too. Prices were right, friendly service and perfect atmosphere on a lazy Saturday.
Would give a 3.5 if possible. The waitress was very kind. Saw us and came out right away with a bowl of water for my dog. Cute little place. The issue was with the food. There were only 3 customers and our food came out cold. It wasn’t very good. The eggs Benedict was good but the rest was just okay.
By the Sea Cafe is the cutest beach cafe! We stopped by Sunday around noon while down here for a wedding. Denise gave us the warmest greeting and let us choose where we wanted to sit. She took our drink order and left us to look over the menu. There is a good amount of food to choose from. We decided breakfast today.
I got the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon. Everything was amazing and the pancakes are huge! I couldn’t finish all of them.
My bf got the Ocean City Special. He swapped the pancakes for french toast. He got two scrambled eggs with cheese, grits with cheese and bacon. He said it was tremendous.
We also split a piece of homemade pumpkin pie which was delicious!
We will definitely be coming back here to try their lunch and new dinner menu.
You can’t beat the view of the ocean!
Thank you Denise, Chef and Kennedy for you wonderful hospitality and amazing food.
The only reason this restaurant even gets a 1 is because the waitress was super sweet! We waited 40 minutes after we were seated for our food. The hash browns were awful, and the meat inside the omelet was burnt. I wouldn’t have been quite so upset about the wait if the food had at least been good! Again, the waitress was wonderful, apologetic, and kind. And the view of the ocean was great. But the kitchen has some problems.
