Best WLM Reviews
I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad here because I really enjoyed my breakfast! Nice local restaurant with friendly staff and yummy food! I'll definitely be back:)
Mixed, the day we went our eggs, Benedict was perfect, but the hashbrowns were cooked on one side and oily in the middle. So it looked good but had to peal off the fried outside to eat. Ended up taking home and continued cooking. That said you would think I would give less stars but the waitstaff was friendly and fast and I really loved the eggs Benedict in fact every weekend we try a new place for them and they really made them well, maybe a touch more vinegar for a bite in the sauce but very good.
Horrible service by cassidee. Hashbrowns were thin and inedible. Asked for bbq sauce twice finally showed up at end of meal. Had to ask for jelly it also finally showed up. Had to ask at minimum 5 times for waitress. It was NOT busy. McDonald’s quality food. Where is management?? Need a full retrain of all staff.
Went in for breakfast. The dining room in the morning has a wall that is entirely glass up through part of the ceiling on the side of the building the sun glares in through as it rises. It was blinding me and burning the side of my arm. They have no shades/blinds/curtains. I had to ask to be reseated two times total. The waitress apologized and said the owners know but don't seem to do anything about it despite complaints.
Food was mediocre compared to their old location. Bacon had a lot of un-rendered chewy fat. Eggs were good. Toast was undercooked.
The water tasted funny. They need to check their filter unless that was straight tap water.
Bad experience over all. I miss the old location. At least they had blinds to keep me from getting a headache waiting for my food.
Giving 2 stars for the waitress for being honest with me about the management being the issue. They should be ashamed at the clear lack of care given after the move. This used to be one of my favorite places to go for years back in the 2000's.
Also, it is expensive now. The casino has much better quality food for less than half the price. I won't be returning, which is a shame given the nostalgia.
I went online to see the menu and decided to go to the restaurant to pick it up instead of having it delivered to save some money. At the restaurant I noticed the price for the Tsunami skillet was $1 more. No big deal. But, after I ordered the price was much higher. I was told there was a service charge for using my Visa and $1.50 for take out.
Why would you charge a service charge? It is understandable if you are only spending a few dollars. But, when you pay for entire meals there shouldn't be service charges for using credit cards. And, the $1.50 charge for take out is crazy. Yes, you put the food in a take out dish and in a bag. But, how is that more expensive than paying service staff to serve us and kitchen staff to wash the dishes if we ate in the restaurant?
Food and service is always good. Sometimes we have longer waits than should be expected when it's slow inside but they are always nice about it. The appetizer wings though are so not worth the $12.00 they cost. You get 6 of the tiniest little nuggets with a smidge of sauce on them set on top of a warm wilting single piece of lettuce. They wouldn't be at the top of my list the next time we go there
I came here the evening of 5/6/23 with my friends and their 2 little kids. I ordered the Tsunami skillet and good gracious was that delicious!!!! It had Everything. Eggs, country gravy, cheese, bacon, ham, sausage, shredded hashbrowns, diced potatoes, green peppers, and onions. Only $14.99 for all that food.
I tried a piece of bacon from my friend's mother-in-law's plate and it was Perfect! Thick cut, crispy but chewy too.
My friend got some of the white cheddar mac and cheese. I tried a little and it was So Good! Buzz Inn's white mac and cheese is the way it's meant to be! Sharp and full of flavor!
The staff was great! Friendly and wonderful women. We were seated quickly for the size of our party (6).
We were mostly helped by a lady with dark brown hair in a high messy bun with glasses on her head. She provided amazing service and was accommodating of dietary needs, special requests, and the 2 young kids! I didn't catch her name, but she definitely deserves a raise! She's a very hard worker!
We used to prefer this location. Two employees walked away while my fiance waited to make a to go order at least 3 times. While he waited for our order he saw the cooks reheat fries in the microwave. Yuck!!! They also charged for to go containers. While the receipt was being signed the woman bent over the counter to look at it. So there was no tip given. That's very rude.
