Buyi is amazing. She is fast & professional I am from Texas and needed my hair done asap. I am very satisfied. Whenever I'm back in IL I will definitely be back.
Buyi is My Favorite Hair Stylist. She has many skills. I have been going to her since I was a kid and I am now 24 years Old. Her products promote the growth of my hair very fast and she is Efficient when doing your hair. Her Shop is Clean and a fun and relaxing environment to be in while getting your hair done. Buyi is very accommodating to all clients and makes sure the customer is satisfied. Her prices are fair and Just right. She is so nice, and very welcoming and inviting to all clients. The atmosphere is chill and fun while waiting in the chair for your hair to get finished or waiting until it’s your turn. Overall, Great Stylist and Great Atmosphere
The absolute worst, unprofessional, and unsanitary shop I’ve ever been to. You can’t even book with her (Buyi) without her forcing you to change your appointment that she originally agreed to. Just clean up your shop and keep your word. -5 stars. She can’t style either but good luck.
Buyi is the nicest and did a great job, she took me last minute and got me right! I also enjoyed her company, she is delightful. I will be back again.
Buyi installed box braids for me which took 5 hours and they look fantastic. She listened carefully to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. We stared promptly and she was an absolute pleasure to interact with. I will be coming back to Buyi in the future for my braiding needs.

Another example of a black business owner that does not value the customer's time. I was told to come in at a certain time. When it was getting close to that time, the owner asked to push the time back. Not a problem.
When I was 5 min away, she asked to move the time back again by 30 min. Obviously, that was too late since I was almost there. She had 2 customers in the shop that still required AT LEAST another hour of work. She complained about another worker not showing up, thus how slow they were.
I waited for 30 min and left. I do not believe in paying for mediocre service. Either you need to staff appropriately or schedule your clients based on the availability of the staff. This continues to happen with small black businesses because the owners don't care and lack professionalism AND the customers continue to accept mediocrity.
I do not and will not pay for poor service. This is unjustifiable... it's a failure in effective management of your business. Period.
Quick service great braiding that does not damage your hair. Great customer service, I laughed my entire appointment !!! I have been twice and both my appointments have been last minute and there was never a problem she is very flexible with her schedule. I would recommend her services!!!!!!
