Best WLM Reviews
Wife and I visited on a Saturday and we didn't have to wait long.
Parking is limited and confusing but you'll work it out.
Stared off by sharing the Biscuit Basket. They were fluffy with a nice crust on the outside. Jams went nicely with them as well. Be careful as the spicy one can stain your shirt! ????
My better half had the special, a Chorizo Scramble with Potatoes that she thoroughly enjoyed. Added some Tabasco and it sent over the top!
I had the Chicken Sandwich with Korean BBQ sauce and it was delicious! Fries were seasoned well and crispy.
Service was prompt and they checked in regularly. Big fan of checking out from the table so you're not taking my card who knows where.
Glad we came as the ambiance was busy and folks were having a good time.
Highly recommend you visit.
Was looking for somewhere different for brunch today for my Mother and Brother. Decided to check out this spot : Buttermilk Kitchen. As someone with a physical disability that uses a rollator, I was noticing from the outside it looked quite small at first. But once inside, it was quite roomy and spaced out which made it quite convenient. The ambience was a welcoming. The social vibe for those looking for somewhere to hangout.
Food was good. Tried the Nashville Fried Chicken for brunch. Good!!! Their coffee is locally owned which is great. Check out the Waitress “ Leona. She was very nice and welcoming.
This restaurant was great for brunch! Bring your appetite and your love of biscuits. The biscuits are huge yet light and fluffy with lots of layers and also texture. Yes, they are that good! The pepper jelly and blueberry jam were amazing too. We had the pickled fried green tomatoes, pimento grits, hash-browns, cinnamon roll and French toast. All were delicious and fresh. The service was friendly and warm. I would recommend making reservations.
We came around 10am and had to wait about 45 minutes. The space is tight but can pack a lot of people. Plenty of parking in different lots. Food was good and our waitress was very kind with us. The prices are fair and portions were large enough. Our favorite was the strawberry rose soda. I wish there were more vegetarian options!
Me and my significant other have been talking about coming here for a while and we finally had some time to check it out. If you’re looking to come here, I cannot recommend it enough to make a reservation! When we got there, it was packed with people waiting for a table.
We had a reservation for inside seating but, it was full and we ended up sitting outside. I’m not sure if they over-seated or what but I didn’t have an issue with it, as the outside sitting area was well-maintained and had a cover from sun and bugs.
Service was amazing, our waiter was great and had a nice attitude. He recommended a lot of options for first time guest and he hit the mark!
We ordered two “appetizers,” the cinnamon roll and the fried green tomatoes. Cinnamon roll wasn’t our favorite, it was a little stale and tasted old. Luckily the green tomatoes made up for it, because they were absolutely delicious and the ranch that came alongside it was just as good. As our main dish, I ordered the Chicken Biscuit and my significant other ordered the Chicken + Pancakes. They were absolutely fantastic, everything came out hot and fresh, and the taste wasn’t comparable to any breakfast place i’ve been too! The Chai Latte and the Blueberry-Basil Lemonade were also very good, some of the best lemonade i’ve had.
Will be coming back, and recommend this place for everyone!
I haven't been out for breakfast in a while and wanted to do some exploring to get it! When I first arrived, I gave my name, but then when I entered the actual restaurant, there was an issue with being seated. It was strange because I just provided my name and was told to come inside and would be seated right away. I wasn't a fan of this greeting, but I was eventually seated. Upin first flsnce, the decor in the restaurant was cute and super inviting. When I did sit down, I felt very comfortable, and the waitress came to take my order. I ordered a green tea latte, the hot chicken and grits, fried green tomatoes, and got the bleu sandwich to go. Aside from being surprised by the decor, I was pleasantly surprised by how quick my food came! The green latte came in a larger cup than I was was good! The green tomatoes were excellent as well! The breading to tomatoes ratio was perfect, and what took these tomatoes to the next level was they were pickled! The ranch dipping sauce just elevated an already tasty starter, so it was a great start to my meal. I thought the hot chicken and grits were good, but I would have preferred it to be more spicy. I found this part of the dish underwhelming, although it was well seasoned and ate great in one bite. For the portion size you receive to price, the meal is definitely worth it! The staff here is super attentive and friendly! They were cheery towards anyone who came in the door, which sets the tone for enjoyable experience.
As I came early, the place wasn't crowded but when I left it was crowded! I will definitely come again and try something different, but I highly suggest coming early to beat the crowd!
Wonderful experience. First time here and I would definitely come back. The manager personally came and introduced himself and asked if he needed anything and our waitress was so sweet and on point. Food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait. 10/10 recommendations!!
This should be the official review for this restaurant because my wife and I are HUGE
breakfast enjoyers.
We both like to experience new places to eat when we travel and this was a highlight!
First I’ll say the atmosphere was sublime!
Strong aroma of coffee when you come in the door. Next you will be met by a well mannered
waiter/waitress that has a thorough understanding of their menu.
All of the information I’ll list was provided by our amazing server!
First we ordered the cinnamon rolls for the appetizer! They are large fluffy rolls with a buttermilk cream frosting. 8.4/10 Great!
Next I drank my coffee.. I love my coffee to get me started on my day, and this was a treat!
I got the French press coffee with a side of vanilla cream. Wow! 9.7/10 Fantastic coffee!
Next up was the main course. My favorite part!
I ordered the Chicken and Waffles.. the chicken was marinated in a sweet tea /herb blend
for 48 hours - then dipped in their waffle batter and fried to a crisp! ( I asked for extra crisp )
The waffles are made from their house made batter and lightly covered in some powdered sugar
Honestly put. The best fried chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. 9.8/10 superb
I ordered a side of pimento cheese grits and their house made biscuit.
The pimento cheese grits I still crave!
Those were made to perfection. I’m not a huge fan of pimento cheese either.
They were just delicious! 10/10 must have
The biscuit and berry marmalade were both made in house. The biscuit was something suggested to me by our sever and it did not disappoint! It had a soft and flaky texture and great flavor. 9.4/10
The berry marmalade was amazing! 9.6/10
Now for my wife’s main course.
She ordered the biscuits and gravy!
The gravy was made right!
I tasted a few bites and gave it a 9.1/10
This was a high score for me considering my other experiences with biscuits and gravy.
These were eye opening for me to try them again!
My closing thoughts are, if you’re trying to choose a breakfast spot that embraces an experience and amazing tasting food-
This is your spot.
