Best WLM Reviews

I originally rated Busters a 4/5 and have been there many times for work and regular visits.
The customer service has continued to decline. When I notified them on their survey request about why my experience was not satisfactory, they told me I "should expect to wait."
I've worked in BBQ places in the past and one great thing is the convenience of low prep times, so a brisket sandwich should not take 20 min to make, and they should at least come out chopped when you requested it.
Portions have continued to get smaller and prices increased. Paid over $90 for four people with no drinks. it would have been better spent on groceries.
Im giving the food 2/5 because it wasn't the worst but it wasn't par for what they've served before. They put slaw next to the buns so the buns were soggy. Meat not trimmed, I Chopped it myself in the picture after trimming it and it was barely enough to fit on a 3" bun.
Everything needs a good wipe down in there too.
I hope they'll do better because i want to see small businesses succeed, but I won't be back.
I gave them a second chance today 5/20/24 and ordered a baked potato with pork. Service is still slower. The potato I received was not washed and there was dirt in the foil.
I got 2 kids' menu items. Chopped chicken and 2 ribs with both sides of fried okra. I got sweet sauce as my BBQ sauce. Omg! I love the sauce. That was some of the best chicken I have had in a while. Ribs, not so good. They wore a bit tough, and it's going to be hard for me to digest. They didn't have much seasoning on. When I come back, I'm getting the chicken. That was season nicely and very moist. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will be back.
Their pulled pork was delicious! Waitress was super friendly and made sure we knew the recommendations.
This was our go to bbq place. It was always so good. Went yesterday. We ordered ice tea, pulled pork, Mac and cheese and okra. I wanted slaw but they were out. The tea tasted like water. My husband got he big kahuna sandwich but they were out of cole slaw so it was not on the sandwich. My Mac and cheese was cold and watery. What happened? They used to have the best Mac and cheese! I don’t know if they have changed management or what but it wasn’t good. The pulled pork didn’t taste right either. I had to ask for sauce. They used to have it on the table. My husbands baked beans were cold too. Probably won’t be back.
I was really excited to try this place! The menu has some fantastic concepts! Like the brisket Philly and the brisket sammich with pimento. That’s what we had- the wife had the pimento, I had the Philly, and we shared some nachos. All of which left us less than impressed. The meat was cooked well- very tender- but no flavor. The bark was tasteless and the sauces just didn’t have enough to carry the load. I feel like this place could be good- just needs to kick it up on the flavor with fresher seasonings and a bit more wood in the Southern Pride smoker.
If you like corn, tomatoes and potatos I would recommend the Brunswick stew. There’s very very very little meat and this is a quart.
Ordered $250+ of food for a birthday celebration, days in advance, and got there to be told it wasn't ready. They said they could pull it together in ten minutes. One hour later, we were finally able to leave with the food. Once we got home and sat down to eat, we all agreed (about 12 people) that the food was terrible! The ribs were tough, the bbq was tasteless, the baked beans were bland and the sauces were disgusting. The only thing that was decent was the fried okra, and let's be honest, it's probably pre-made frozen okra. The lady there was nice enough about the situation, but after eating the food, we really wished we had just ordered somewhere else. Not worth the money and highly unprofessional in my opinion. As far as the atmosphere, it seemed chaotic in there and it took ten minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was at the counter. Even though they weren't that busy. The young people seemed bothered to be there. Getting to the counter was difficult because of how sticky the floors are. I'll definitely choose elsewhere next time.
God ordained this place as the Temple of BBQ.
I got the Pimento Brisket Sandwhich and it opened my third eye. All of my problems melted away. No more depression, stress, or anxiety. Only miraculously good BBQ sandwich goodness. The meat's tender, the fat melts away in your mouth, and it's all covered in cheesey gooey goodness. I recommend getting the Mac and Cheese side then mixing some of the pimento cheese into it. Also, their sweet tea isn't 90% sugar so you can drink it without feeling like you're destroying your pancreas.
