Family owned and run this is the best small Mexican food place in Lancaster. They have the best burria red tacos and homemade menudo around. It's close to shopping and downtown so the location is great for quick meal lunch or dinner in a hurry def a winner!
This place used to be the best hole in the wall kind of restaurant. But as of lately, their quality has been horrendous. It’s usually hit or miss now. More miss than hit, I’ve ordered frequently enough to make that comparison. Today was the last time I will order from here. Ordered burritos, experienced a long wait which is usually great cause you assume its fresh at the very least . Nope. Had a burrito filled with onions. Literally. And on top of that, a Luke warm burrito. Salsa, usually phenomenal, was meh and skimped. Filled barely halfway in such an already shallow container. Just feels like there’s no pride in the food or service anymore and really a huge middle finger to the customer since the quality of a burrito can’t be checked until after consumption lol. The asada in my burrito was also chopped to oblivion so there was barely any in there. Barely any rice. Just onion and a thick layer of beans. I never take the time to write out reviews, but this experience knew how to grind my gears. Do better
Me and my wife had breakfast here twice. The food is fresh to order. Great customer service and the establishment is clean. We tried to go one week, but I guess the employees didn’t open on time. Hopefully they will be open next time.
I recommend the Carne Asada, Rice & Beans. I also love the chips and salsa. Although the salsa is HOT.
I like hot salsa but it might not be family friendly or for children.
They have good taco plate deals with rice and beans.
I ordered the wrong item of Chile Verde burrito last time. I am naive, and thought I had a choice of meat (that's what I get for thinking). The Chile Verde is pork! I won't eat it. A worker (manager?) noticed and asked what was wrong and I told her I ordered the wrong burrito. But the order error was on me and did not get fixed. It's not their fault for my mistake. So here an hour after lunch and still hungry. Please be aware of what you are ordering and the type of protein/meat you are getting.
I like the food, the last visit was upsetting.
Excellent food and fantastic service. Guy running the front was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed for our burritos.
The red salsa is choice. Has a slight kick but is very flavorful and has a hint of smokiness.
La lengua desabrida. A todo le faltaba sabor. La salsa de tomate sabia aceda. The food had no taste the salsa that came with the chips was bad. The service was mediocre. Not very inviting. Would not return. 2 sope meal $8.99 lengua y asada with rice and beans.

Food was excellent! Bacon was nice and thick.
Took the cook about 7 to 10 minutes to get our food started even tbough we were the only order. 4 stars because it took a while to get our food.
