This place has been a lot of different things over the years so I hope they are here to stay! I’ve tried everything from breakfast burritos to tacos to tamales and everything is made fresh to order and is a healthy serving size. Salsas are fresh and perfectly seasoned.
I’ve also used them for catering and they were fantastic to work with and the food was a hit. Service is always with a smile!
They have a few high tops you can eat at but keep in mind the other half of the place is a grocery store.
The food is very delicious, the rice is delicious and the beans too, the sauces are super delicious if you want something spicy and delicious, the enchiladas and chilaquiles are served in good portions, the owner is a super friendly and attentive person. Bendiciones a su negocio
To start, the owner Javier was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. I ordered the veggie torta which was 15% today (Monday). There are deals each day of the week. It was truly one of the best sandwiches I’ve had! Will definitely be back
Amazing neighborhood hidden gem! Met the owner Javier, such an amazing man - the restaurants food was outstanding, service was outstanding! I definitely recommend the steak tacos w/avocado salsa -so good!
Such friendly and nice staff- I accidentally left a small bag when leaving (there’s so much food and such huge portions couldn’t carry it all) and they literally ran out the door and all the way down the parking lot to catch me before leaving- and then they were so kind and polite about it while making sure I had everything! Completely recommend 10/10 !! If you go definitely meet the owner- you won’t be disappointed, one of the kindest and sweetest people I’ve met since moving back to Minneapolis!

If you’re reading this…stop because your search for amazing, mouth watering Mexican food is over. The staff and Owner are so lovely and welcoming. Team, the Birria tacos are a game changer and some of the best in the Twin Cities. Burritos and quesadillas are always a solid choice here. The salsa game here is also on point. The flavors and the different spice levels finally have us leaving the land of the bland. Don’t let the exterior deter you, it’s authentic and adds a bit to the adventure. Enjoy!!
