I went with low expectations. A burger joint in a gas station? But, I was hungry. I was so pleasantly surprised. The western burger, with perfectly prepared brisket and burger, was amazing. My husband had the Diablo burger, and was just as impressed. The guy behind the counter was attentive without being pushy, and considering that he was the only person trying to handle online, phone in and walk in customers, he was a rock star. I will definitely visit again!
Burger Zone shares space with a gas station so the atmosphere is what it is. The Diablo burger wasn’t spicy and I had to pull over after eating because I had to throw up.
Variety of delicious choices from their menu. Mainly only food no dessert. Well done for the food temperature, and taste. Burgers and wings delicious. Favorite place to visit for a quick meal. Likely to try a new burger.
Now, this is a hidden gem in Fairbanks. As an avid traveler, and someone who has had their fair share of burgers across the US, I was shocked by the quality of this gas station burger!
The smell of it while walking past with my brothers was what originally drew me in. There was no way something that smelled this good was going to taste bad. When you've traveled around the US as much as I have, you come to learn you can't judge a book by its cover.
Nestled away in a little gas station, BurgerZone is here to impress.
10/10 recommend this place over everywhere else I've ate during my 3 trips to Fairbanks.
Great burgers!!! Patties were well seasoned and all ingredients tasted fresh. Even the chicken patty was really flavorful. We’ll definitely be back.
Tried heart attack, and that's the worst sandwich I've ever had.. well frankly the best!! Gotcha! Those chefs know how to make great patties, I can tell they're homemade and slow cooked, make it juicy af, must be the best burger place to devour in, muchas gracias amigos ????
Food here is excellent, and the staff is warm & welcoming. I've never gotten bad food from this location, and it's always been top tier. The *only* downside is that this is located in a full service gas station, with bad seating and zero separation from the common areas of the gas station, so if you're looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere, this isn't it since you're going to be listening to all the beeps and dings of foot traffic coming in and out, and people turning gas pumps on, etc.
Absolutely 100% recommend you grab a bite here, I cannot sing higher praises of the quality of the food, but plan on grabbing it to go, and eating in your car or taking it home.
Keep supporting this local business so they can move out of this location and get a proper building for themselves one day!
