Preface: I've worked in the food industry, and issues/bottlenecks happen. Their food is always fine enough. Not always hot, but warm. The breakfast crew is better - more customer friendly, faster, with better food.
Evening crew needs some work.
The wait time here is most notable. I've gone before and had to wait a little while. Unfortunately, it's common knowledge now at the Plaquemine location, specifically in the evenings. This time was a bit worse.
I waited in the drive through line for a total of about 30 minutes (though it could have been longer) 4-5 cars lining up behind mine. If I were ordering for myself, I would have left. The vehicle in front of me waited at the speaker for probably 10 minutes. I was at the speaker for over ten minutes and was told to "hold for one second" twice. I was at the window for probably 3 minutes before I was acknowledged. And they had me "reverse behind the pole" for another 3ish minutes, which I'd assume was to reset their drive through timer so that corporate doesn't get on them about wait times. Thankfully, the food was at least warm, but at that rate it seems everyone should be receiving piping hot food, no? (lol).
That being said, I'm not necessarily mad, but I'm bitter enough to say something online.
If this gets to the right person, please help them; it seems obvious that this is either a training issue or a staffing issue. It could both or something else entirely.
All that said, I'll still be back. My boyfriend really likes their vegetarian burger, and I'll wait the 30 minutes for him.
Letting you sit at drive thru window so they can not loss to the clock. Sat for 15 mins with cars behind me. Food is always decent.
Terrible had no cars on drive thru. And they closed the lobby. Waited 10 minutes to get my order taken never took it this was on Feb 22 at 5:28 waited in line till 5:35
I have been going in the morning for breakfast drive-thru about 2 times a week for the past month or two or so it seems. the lady with the mic. who takes your orders and serves the food at the drive thru window is the NICEST AND FRIENDLIEST PERSON i think i've ever met. Hard to find employees like her anymore.
They said the lobby was closed and it was only 7 o’clock in the afternoon and the workers had friends sitting outside. The workers were sitting outside and only one person was inside working on those in drive-through orders. This is a terrible place. Don’t go here.
I was so disappointed with this visit. I ordered a whopper and it was inedible. There was none of the Burger King char marks on the meat and the meat felt like rubber but tasted like cardboard. It didn't even look palatable. The bread felt and tasted old and stale and the sandwich wasn't even hot. My fries were good, which I ate. I took one bite of the burger however, spit it out and threw it away. They got the second star solely for the hot fries.
If you order something late night they go came they closed even though it 24 hours on the weekend but serve people who they know.
Told them i wanted a hershey pie 4 times and got no hershey pie. Also the fries were about 2 hours old.
