One of our favorite places to eat! Very friendly service and some of the best burger boxes you can find anywhere! We love the ice cream also! The owners are great people and it’s always nice to support locally owned businesses!! Burger Barn is always a treat!
An excellent place for a burger. Like a few other places in the area, if you order a basket with your burger it comes with fries and slaw.
I went twice in the time I was there- got a peanut butter milkshake that was great the second time I was there.
The burgers come with tomato, lettuce, and onion. Cheese is also an option and you can get ketchup or mustard packets to add. Burgers were fried and have a few crispy bits that add a great flavor and texture.
Crinkle cut fries with just the right amount of salt.
The only bad thing is that you are charged extra for using a card- which is illegal in most states.
Everything here is delicious! Best milkshakes in the county! Food comes out quick and is nice and hot.
Americana. Walk up and order. Burger and fries were phenomenal. Order came out quick. 2 double cheese, 2 fries, and 2 drinks. $16. Please stop if you're close by. Just know the patties are thick. Crinkle cut fries cooked absolutely perfectly.
We didn't drive there but Shelli's sister had to go to Irvine today for some reason and since I passed Burger Barn several times while I was working as a temporary Clerk for the USPS back Christmas 2020, we asked her to pick us up two double burgers, some crinkle fries and an order of onion rings.
And we are so glad that we did. These Burgers absolutely hit the proverbial spot for us.
Two hamburger Patties each fully dressed on wonderfully toasted buns and while we didn't even notice until we were halfway through but they weren't even dressed with any condiments on top and you know what??? If a burger is this fantastic, which THEY WERE, it doesn't even need ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise or anything else on top of it!!!

WHICH IS A MUST when you are hanchoring for a big greasy burger. And it satisfied.
So did their crinkle fries & wonderful and slightly well done onion rings. They were cooked to perfection.
We are definitely going to have to find a reason/excuse to drive 30-miles east of Richmond & make it back to Irvin Kentucky to have another wonderful greasy meal at Burger Barn.

It's a hole in the wall Restaurant, and it's locally owned. Great food, best ice cream and milk shakes in town. It's carryout only, you can eat at the picnic tables beside the building. They have done some fixing up on the building ????. I recommend you go try it out.
My wife and I had eaten there twice before, and got ice ream both times. This time I took my son so he could have the experience.
We both ordered the double cheeseburger basket- he got fries, and I stuck with the onion rings. We shared, and we were both more than satisfied. The burgers were great, and so were the fries and onion rings!.
To top things off, we both ordered milk shakes, and they were delicious!
Went for a Sunday drive with the family, ended up at Burger Barn. We all had burgers, fries, and rings as well as drinks. The food was delicious, for a good value. Highly recommended. We will visit again. Destiny says the best burger ever!
