Burgatory on North Shore was fantastic, as expected. We enjoyed our meals on a chilly Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon. Our burgers were absolutely delicious and served exactly as ordered. The fries were awesome and the spicy baked beans were truly spicy. The service was attentive and laid back. Highly recommended.
Went here for lunch on a Monday, so unsurprisingly they seemed a little understaffed. However, the food, atmosphere, and service were all great. If you are looking for a burger place, this is THE place. They have smash, bison, elk - pretty much any type of burger you’d want. Even better, if you are a truly choosy burger connoisseur, you can completely design your own burger. We ordered the triple b and the double smash burgers, both of which were great. For dessert we had a couple of milkshakes which did not disappoint. The ambiance was also on point, leaning heavily into the burgatory theme with witty and branded art throughout.
Everything about this place was amazing! From the service to the food and even the milkshakes, I loved every single bit. My boyfriend and I were on vacation in Pittsburgh and were glad that we made the stop here, it was a perfect 10/10 experience. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely be stopping!
Very cute local burger spot. Was a really hot day so we all got milkshakes. Tried the Salted Nutella and the Cold Brew Brownie which were both very good and thick. We got smalls which was enough for us but if you’re a milkshake lover might not be enough. Got two burgers, one custom and one of the chicken burgers which were really good. Probably the best ground chicken burger we’ve ever had. Those are hard not to make too dry. Also got the Harvest bowl and added the veggie burger on top. the flavors were all there but the bowl is just huge. Definitely got what you paid for. I couldn’t finish my dish, it was so large. Maybe wish there were some more fresh veggies in it but it is a burger joint so I can’t ask for much. The veggie burger was a little salty but paired nicely with the lack of salt on the items in the bowl. The chips that came with the burgers were good (homemade ????) but preferred the side of fries we go for the table. Our server was very attentive and it’s a good spot for some good food at a fair price.
Stopped in before a Friday night Pirates game. Glad we did. As busy as the area was, they really got us in and out quickly. Burgers were really outstanding. Huge! High quality ingredients, tons of options. Nice beer selection, as well. MUCH better pricing than inside the ballpark :-) We come back in a heartbeat
I’ve been eyeing this place up for our visit to Pittsburgh for a while now. I love a good burger! Street parking wasn’t difficult to secure, the wait wasn’t awful, and we enjoyed the local sites and views while we waited. We had lunch and it was decent. I got Morty’s Steakhouse burger, and while the burger was cooked as ordered, the burger and onion crisps were a bit on the greasy side. My daughter ordered the double smash burger and reports that it was 8/10. I also enjoyed a Strawberry Basil Shag and the medley of flavors was absolutely delicious!y kids are big on souvenir t-shirts/stickers but when we asked out server about merch she said we’d be better off ordering online. This included the charity t-shirt notated on the menu.
Went in during the rain delay during the Cardinals game. The menu looked good online, and the burgers did not disappoint! Add the fact that you could get a spiked milkshake (Oreo peanut butter) to make it a perfect visit. Everybody at the table raved about the food. Will be back every time we return to Pittsburgh! Let's hope the Steelers are doing better next year ????
I usually expect the worst from gimmicky restaurants but the food here was pretty good.
I had the piggy butter and jelly burger. It was good but the peanut butter and jelly was nearly undetectable. I had forgotten what Burger I'd ordered until I got a little taste of peanut butter on one of the last bites. Still, the burger itself was cooked perfectly which is very unusual.
My wife got the wicked wings. She didn't care for the rub they used in them but said they were okay other than that. I liked them but thought the rub was too cinnamon-forward.
The server was attentive, friendly and energetic.
Overall, a good experience. Food is good. Most of our complaints are due to personal preference but we'd eat here again.
