I had this for dinner on Sunday, for the Sunday game. This was delivered to my home. Food was on point, I really enjoyed the chicago hotdog. My wife got a burger and fries. I also got an Italian Beef dipped, which was amazing. Next time I'll visit the actual location for a better review on my whole experience overall.
the plant based italian beef sandwich is delicious! i love how buona has real plant based options (clearly labeled) on the menu that aren’t just salads without dressing. the italian beef is full of flavor and the seasoning is spot on. i ordered the sandwich with vegan cheese and sweet peppers, both of which were tasty! i wish the cheese was a little meltier but honestly it’s not a problem for me and i still think the sandwich is perfect!
my only real complaint/note is that i wish you could get a full size plant based sandwich because i didn’t see it when i was ordering online.
Buona in this location is great! The addition of rainbow cone makes it a lot more than a drive through. Food has always been great and the service top notch.
Came here for the first time with a couple of friends. Nice atmosphere, clean, and friendly staff. I ordered a large beef with cheese fries and a drink! Was so thirsty and the fresh squeezed lemonade was perfect! I put a splash of the strawberry watermelon for my refill and it tasted even better! Fries were kind of small and dry. Maybe they were at the bottom of the batch? Ordered my beef baptized with sweet peppers. Came as ordered, but for the price, I felt I can find one just as good as the many places locally that sell them. One friend ordered a combo and thought it was small and pricey and said he has had much better. It was the second time here for my other friend and she remembers her chicken sandwich on a different bun and tasted better the first time she came when they first opened. She also ordered onion rings and only ate a couple because she thought that had maybe an overdone burnt taste. If I stopped here again, it would probably be for the lemonade and tea!
I have had countless negative experiences with my orders being placed at this location through Grubhub where this Buona location accepts my order and I am charged. since I place my order ahead, I receive notice that this location cancels my order hours later when it is too late for me to order from somewhere else to receive in time for my lunch break. I have never had such terrible service either in house at this location or through delivery services! I will never dine at the Lakemoor Buona location again and I will spread the word to everyone I know about their incompetence and unacceptable customer service. Additionally, every time this happens I am not refunded my money for 3-5 days after the cancellation! Good riddance!
Great food, great atmosphere! Pasta with sausage was delicious! Staff was very helpful and friendly.

They also serve burgers and pastas that are great. They have a drive-thru service. The dining area has plenty of seating. The pick-up order area is on the other side of the restaurant. The outdoor dining is fenced off, so the only way to get access is coming in the front door. Once you enter, you will see the door to the outdoor patio area. Parking is limited. A few handicap spots.
The food is good and the service is fast. Don't bother adding Mozzarella cheese to the beef sandwich because it costs a dollar and you can count the shreds on one hand. Add your own cheese at home.
