When we walked in we were greeted right away. The staff was friendly. Good vibes. The pizza was completely different to what I'm used to. The crust was thin and crispy. The sauce was a little on the sour side with citrus undertones. It was delicious. The melted parmesan on top with the fresh Basel gave it a nice touch. Definitely coming back.
this place has some of the best bread ever. the atmosphere is very fresh and welcoming - it’s the perfect spot to get together with friends and enjoy good food, beer and wine, and music in a casual but cute space. my personal favorites are the soppressata and hot honey pizza, bread with cultured butter, and the big salad. honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything here! this is a spot i keep coming back to because it’s just so good.
Super fun joint. A lot of good vibes and reasons to hang around. The food, overall, was tasty, but the pizza left some to be desired. You can tell they put great care and detail into every decision. The pizza just didn't do it for me. Could've been the bold claim of "best cheese pizza in Chicago." I appreciate the bravado, but unfortunately, it came with little fanfare.
It may seem odd to say that this is my favorite pizza spot in Chicago. It's not deep dish. It's not tavern style. But it's SO good.
This is a go-to spot for our family. I've also brought friends, clients, colleagues---it's great for really any occasion.
Their Happy Hour is a must. Great deals and a good time to load up on multiple pizzas. It's one of the best happy hours in the city.

Cute spot for groups or a date. They have great pizzas and their own beer and kombucha. They have a nice outdoor area when it’s warm out, even when it’s cold out they have a tented outdoor area that is warm.
One comment is that they don’t have any protein options on the menu, the only protein you can find is maybe a pizza topping. Would be great if they had a salad with protein options for people that don’t eat pizza.
I’ve been having dreams about this food since I had it. I had a sandwich (can’t find the name of it) and I ate it so fast.
I’m not a sandwich person and I was blown away at how good this was. Both of my friends got the dough boats, and they give them a 10/10.
The aesthetic of Bungalow is very cute. The inside is very homey. We could spend hours talking here.
The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I’ll be back (hopefully VERY soon)!

This place is ok. Maybe overrated to say the least. Nice spot for the location, but had better. Came during weekend Happy Hour which was cool, but the only outstanding parts were probably the Bread + Beet Tahini - unique for sure, and their own Chard'd (white) wine (pictured here). Had high hopes for their pizza that was wildly reviewed. Pictured here is their Sausage and Olive Pizza. Just a bit of sausage. Although we opted to be indoors, it was a bit drafty and cool. Not sure if I would come back.
