We had a fantastic experience at Bumpers Landing! The food was delicious, and the location by the water made it even more enjoyable. It’s a great neighborhood bar with a lovely atmosphere. A special shoutout to Christopher, who was really excellent with his service. We’ll definitely be coming back!
First time coming in and it was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. The waterfront setting was perfect for the weather today. I had the Detroit stile pizza and it was one of the best I have had. I got to meet Dave one of the managers. He was such a handsome and charming fella. Just another reason to come back. If you haven’t been yet you’re missing out.
I'll drive here from Downriver. It's that good. The menu is varied and concise, the pizza is the best outside of Cloverleaf or Shields, and the atmosphere is one of a kind.
I wanted this place to be better unfortunately it has failed to many times for me to give it another chance. The arch nemesis of this place is a hamburger. The only temp they can execute properly is well done and dry. Every time I order it medium, I’d even be happy with medium rare! Nope! Well done. This time with barely warm fries, the bun was toasted on the top crispy but not on the correct side????♂️ all while waiting more than 30 minutes and the place was 2/3 empty. My wife had a crispy chicken salad which looked like the “cook” didn’t have the common culinary sense to remove the yellow bitter lettuce hearts. There were an abundance in the salad.Cant correctly execute a burger and a salad correctly in the standard 15 minute ticket time during slow season? That’s not good news for the kitchen. I’ve been a chef for 30 years. A place like this with a simple menu shouldn’t have any issues with ticket times or volume if you have a capable chef attending to details properly. Most likely won’t be back.
Loved this place. Right on the canal. Great setup. There is plenty of outside seating. 2 bars, 1 in 1 out but covered outside. Docks for boaters. Great food we had many burgers and fresh seafood choices. Nice local spot.
Lively place to stop and have a cocktail or lunch. Very busy so be prepared to wait at prime times. So much seating inside outside, lots of views of the water in the marina. Their food portions are huge. I ordered the perch and had four large pieces to go with those crispy fries. Lots of options for icy cold cocktails to keep you cool in the warm summer breezes.
Open year round, but amazing fun during the boating season. So much activity in the restaurant and on the Clinton River to watch! Lots of boat wells, great variety of food to please everyone, plentiful inside & outside seating, and regular live music.
Well let me start by saying it's to loud inside the bar music to loud people have to yell at each other to conversate.
.pizza is great . Crabcakes terrible food time to long . Liked the outside dining not as loud
all waitresses very busy . Nice establishment but if your going for dinner expect a timely service of an 45 minutes or so
