The staff was so friendly and helpful. She offered gluten free choices and asked kitchen to make a change so my daughter could eat. We had turkey, fish, and beef dinners. Everything was delicious! After a cold walk it was lovely having such a nice warm "home cooked" dinner.
Surprisingly tasty fare, served cafeteria style during the busy Christmas season weekend night. Recommended you dine a bit early. At 445 there was no line, but by 545 it was packed. The turkey and stuffing was great, but the pot roast was the best ever. Enjoy!
We enjoyed a wonderful buffet style Thanksgiving Dinner here on Thanksgiving day. The experience was priceless and the food was limited in choice but acceptable. The staff was friendly and in character of an 1835 New England village. Hot Mulled Cider, Turkey, Roast Beef were the highlights, along with all the sides and trimmings.

Great food and experience! The staff works hard, especially when over-tired & over stimulated, unsupervised children are unhinged!! And their parents, who cannot cope!! Thanks for all you do!! 5 stars!!!
A great old Tavern from the 1830's but the food is mdern and terrific! Old Sturbridge members get a 10% discount!
The service folks: super polite! The food: the Turkey sandwich was delicious, and I had never considered adding cheese to a 'Toasted Thanksgiving'-panini.
In the future, much more drink choices and to-go prepped foods I feel would be super-helpful for the staff when the lines rush in, and also if it's possible to get at least one more person in there because they were all working so hard and looked like they all could use another set of hands. Cheers!
The selection of food has really gone down here in recent years. They use to have such an impressive selection of, but not anymore.
Now, your lucky if they even have a single sandwich on the menu and even then that's all there is to eat. Such a shame.
