Both the chicken and beef bulgogi dinner meal was delicious. Meat melts in your mouth. The vegetable side dishes surprised me with their flavors.
After trying basically all of the Korean restaurants in Saint Louis, MO, Springfield, MO, and the surrounding areas, Bulgogi House is truly the best, most authentic Korean restaurant you will eat at.
Some of these low reviews I’ve seen for this place are those one unfortunate time situations. They are low staffed, it’s just the owner and two kitchen ladies.
So naturally after busy rush hours, the tables are going to be left dirty to accommodate for the service of new customers.
But you seriously cannot go wrong with the food here. It tastes better than most Korean restaurants I’ve been at in both Korea and the states. I would know because I am Korean.
They give you a ton of food and you’ll get unlimited side dishes without extra cost. The rice I believe is an extra $1 for more.
I am going to miss this place when we PCS! Check out all of the dishes I posted here over the course of 4 years since I’ve been here. I’ve gone to all of the other Korean restaurants and they cannot compare.
PLUS, Bulgogi House takes card and not only cash like Cafe Korea and Koba do.
Amazing place to grab food and one of the closest to authentic Korean food in the area. After being in Korea for a bit I wanted to get back to some of the food and this place does it so well. I love the food here and the staff, while they don't have many is super friendly and accommodating.
Bibim bap. #31. That’s really all you need to know, though my husband did enjoy the seafood soup. If you’re banking for some Korean home cooking, this is the place for you. So tasty and large servings. It’s in a strip mall so there’s plenty of parking. We went in a weeknight so it wasn’t very crowded. Friendly staff as well. Recommend.
I love this place. I have been eating their food since they were in their old place. I love everything on the menu. Today we enjoyed the beef bulgogi, side dishes and two soups. Such a great meal for the price.
My go to during my time at FLW. As a NY native and Korean this place can’t get any more authentic. They serve banchan too with your meal which is such a nice touch that many Korean restaurants no longer do.
I highly recommend the Japchae, bulgogi of course and teokkbokki.
Only recommendation to this place is that they revamp it slightly as it is an older Restaurant. This would help the business grow and appeal to more customers

Wow! The Bulgogi House is definitely a gem in St. Robert. It is nestled in a run down strip mall right outside the main gate of Fort Leonard-Wood. Don't let the appearance fool you though. As soon as you step inside the door, you enter a warm and inviting place. It almost feels like you're in your Korean friend's mom's kitchen! The front is cozy but there is more seating around the corner. The staff was friendly and chatty...but not too chatty. I ordered the Kim Bop and Jap Chae. The food was delicious and the price was right! Everything was well seasoned and you get a lot for what you pay for! If you're craving Korean food, go here!
