Very old school roadside steakhouse right off highway 36 so very easy to get to. Service is excellent and the burgers we ordered hit the spot.
An absolute must! The best in ALL homemade food of all kinds and the pies are the best ever with the best staff and very reasonable prices.

Used to go here all the time as a kid. I drove all the way from omaha just to visit one more time. The buffet is still as tasty as I remember, but I am a little sad they don't carry their turtle cheesecake anymore
Best food around. We live in Salina and come on Wednesdays to have the fried chicken we love it.
Food was terrible.... best thing on the buffet was the potatoes. The selection of meat was all poor quality... dried out and tough. They had something they said was catfish. Must of been some bi product of some kind of fish...it definitely was not catfish. The prices were awful high for no better than the food was. The bathroom had strong odor of sewer. We will not be back.
Decent food, our waitress was very friendly and attentive and the prices were excellent will definitely eat here again.
This place is a jewel in Jewell county. We had the KC Strip steaks and they were awesome. Salad bar was a nice touch and very yummy with a good variety. Warm rolls served with dinner was a nice touch. The coffee cup was never empty and they serve Cains coffee. I would go back to this place anytime. Folks are nice and accommodating. Nicely decorated and clean as well.
