Hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! I am obsessed with their food, drinks & hospitality! Anything I've ordered was amazing... While visiting for 5 days we had to return & support this restaurant! Their brunch is out of this world! Must try if stopping by Tuscon!
Good food and good atmosphere. The chilaquiles divorciados is a large plate. The green sauce has more of a kick than the red sauce. It made a good combo.
I had the chicken enchiladas Buendia style and it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had. I’m still thinking about it! Not only is the food amazing but the service is even better. Truly a hidden gem filled with positive vibes.
Vacationing here in Tucson, Arizona my husband and I ate here for the very first time. The food is really good and the atmosphere is very friendly. This Cafe reminded us of home. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting the area.
Exceptional service with outstanding authentic Mexican breakfast. True demonstration of hospitality. Local exo coffee served alongside Maria’s cookies is simply charming (with tiny creamer vessel.) Chilaquiles Divorciados with eggs gives best of both red and green. And not to spoil any surprises, but all served with a dash of alegria / happiness.
Great atmosphere with attentive table service. The wait time on a Tuesday morning is speedy. The Huevos Rancheros Napo was packed with flavor. I look forward to retuning and trying something new!

This is a small cafe that serves Mexican breakfast and lunch. The food was not as tasty as anticipated. The food lacked flavor, was overcooked, limited, and the portions were kid-sized (as pictured). Service was decent but our waitress had difficulties understanding questions asked about the food (I.e. preparation, spice level, etc.). Dia De Los Muertos decor was still up so the decor was magnificent!
Two individual bathrooms available that were nicely decorated just adjacent to the dining area.
Being that it’s a cafe it’s only open limited hours and be prepared to wait regardless of the day or time.
If you’re looking for a cute experience this might be your place but if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with adult-sized portions try some other options.

Awesome little Mexican breakfast and lunch place. Seating is limited, so be prepared for a possible wait. Food is authentic and delish. Wife had the chilaquiles divorciado and I had the huevos rancheros divorciado. The divorciado simply meaning we had both red and green sauce. The flavor was amazing for both. As a treat, get yourself the Cafe de Olla, served in the earthenware cups! It's incredible. Will definitely be back!
