Service was Great! Orlando was very polite & professional.
The decoration & environment were nice too.
However, the food was not good at all compare to the price.
especially, I would say to avoid Chef's Special.
We chose Brunch special on Sunday.
Really cute spot to come to with friends, family, or a date. There’s multiple levels, including a very nice rooftop with bar, table, & both seating. They recommend reservations because it gets very busy but the rooftop is first come first serve. They also have a happy hour that includes adecent variety of options of light bites & drinks. Floral atmosphere and natural lighting to amplify the space. The mushroom tacos were pretty good but I was still hungry due to their beans not being vegan. There weren’t too many vegan options but I was here with friends so made it work.
Mexican-style brunch restaurant with an all you can eat and drink menu. I didn’t love that their only option was the unlimited on at brunch-time, but the food was good with small tapas style plates. It’s strange to charge for every drink on an unlimited menu.
I recently had brunch at Buena Vida and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu had a great variety of options to choose from and everything we ordered was top-notch.
Lydia, our server, was a true gem. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She had great recommendations and really enhanced our dining experience.
Overall, I highly recommend brunch at Buena Vida. The food, the service, and the atmosphere all combined to make for a wonderful meal. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you, Lydia, for making our brunch experience so enjoyable.
This place was fantastic! Beautiful atmosphere and incredible food. Our waitress, Lily, was EXCEPTIONAL. She went above and BEYOND. I had limitations on what I could eat and without me even asking she brought out an entire plate of food just for me during Brunch tapas. I will definitely be back!!
Happy Hour is from 3 pm to 7 pm, Monday - Friday. The food in the happy hour is not worth it.
We tried the crab queso which came out in a comically small skillet, the size of the palm of my hand. It came with 2 incredibly small pieces of bread. We had to ask for a bowl of chips to even finish eating it. Additionally, it was not like queso at all. It was stringy melted cheese that was hard to eat and barely had crab in it.
We also ordered some pork belly tacos which tasted go, d but portion size left a lot to be desired.
We tried the classic margarita and the rose sangria which were good.
Overall, I would pass at this restaurant for happy hour deals. If you're going to go here, go for the full menu!
Recent trend in Arlington and DMV are several Tex/Mex offerings with the routine fare. Often same fare, fancy drinks but the same type of food. Buena Vida offers a unique experience in comparison, exceptional food, great drinks and an environment that stirs the soul! The food and the experience screams "muy bueno and excelente! Chef Ishamel is an artist! A must try, the offerings are just delectable!
My new favorite Mexican restaurant! It’s a vibe and great for a date or a group of friends. I went during restaurant week and got to sample a lot of different menu items, all of which were delicious. The service was amazing.
