I give the room a 5 because it is a very big room with double queen beds & still plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 large service dogs to get around and even play fetch!! It's an old school hotel that could use a little TLC but it was CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, & SMELLED FRESH, did I mention CLEAN... The people here are SUPER friendly. I'd definitely stay again if in the area & the Indian food they have available take out and delivery is. AMAZING ???? ????
I gave 5 stars to the room because it was a double queen, and there was still room to play ball with my big service dogs. It's an older hotel but I'd definitely stay again!! The people are SUPER friendly and run an Indian Cuisine for take out/delivery that is AMAZING!!
This establishment is not far from I-70 and is a natural stop when heading to Denver or from Denver.||I was on a 21 day tour. That meant I stayed in 21 hotels/motels.||The experience I had here was so much better than other places - I had for it to be my first review.||The place isnt fancy. It's more than fine but isnt fancy. Total price was only 63$.||But the hosts over compensated with friendlyness and hospitality. I told them I love Indian Chai and love Indian food. They offered to bring some to my room. I got my Indian chai and Indian food and water broght to my room.|It saved me the trouble to go look for a place to eat.||I had another issue. I was expecting a zoom meetind the next dat at 13:00. Im working with Europe and had to do it during their evening. ||Checkout is at 11:00 so I asked maybe to sit in the lobby for the meeting. I was offered to extend my check-out time until 15:00 with no extra charge. ||So what can I say. ||I wish to extend to my hosts the maximum praise for their full hearted hospitality. I would stay again anytime and fully recommend others to enjoy a unique hospitality.|||
You get what you pay for, the electronics in the room have been jerry-rigged to work, the bathroom door won't latch. You get two pillows and they're both pathetic, the mattress is very firm.
However it is clean, my room was quiet. The heater is a little lackluster but does its job, it's obviously old. If I wanted Holiday inn quality I would have ponied up the extra $70 a night to do that. I chose this level and I'm not disappointed!
It's really easy to get to with gps. Not to far from I70. The staff is nice, mostly I liked the center area for my dogs benefit. I travel a lot with her and finding an area not covered in thorns is difficult. The beds are comfortable enough the price is right. I feel like I got my money's worth and will probably make this my regular stopping point when traveling this way. I make a trip out here 4 times a year.
I stayed here a few years ago & to this day it is the worst, most disgustingly dirty motel I’ve ever stayed at & I’ve been to 3rd world countries. So that’s saying something. The family who runs this place is abhorrently rude. I still laugh to myself quite often about how serious that little hotel manager is about his disgusting motel. Good for you though, I guess take pride in something? But my god are they rude. I love reading the reviews of this hotel out loud to my friends. I tell everyone about it. My favorite part is when the owner gets on all platforms and argues with reviewers. Hilarious. This place is dirty, it stinks, it’s damp, everything is broken…but as long as there aren’t any bugs I guess it’s better than sleeping in your car. If you want a good laugh please go through all platforms & search for this hotel so you can read the scathing reviews & the owners hilarious responses. Place is a dump!
Positive: The price. Negative: It was freezing in the room. We had a remote to control the room unit. But the unit was high on the wall. We kept putting the temperature up but the room did not get warm.The add said breakfast with the room but there was none. Negative: ""
Obviously this is a motel in a small Kansas town, but the service definitely made it feel above par. Everyone working here has been pleasant and flexible with our stay. Great price to boot.
