Horrible car. Nothing but problems. Their mechanic said the car was great! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!! The car has a cracked engine. They knew it and sold it anyway. Cheating, lying dirt bags. PLEASE save yourself pain and heartache. I am going to file with the Better Business Bureau!!! I bought this car for my handyman with my credit card. He was stranded 5 hours from home and needed transportation. They took advantage of his situation. They won't make it right. Do Not take a chance with them they are scam artists!
Worst experience ever!!! I bought a car from Pete king only to find out after Pete had my money that I was buying from this dealer. On my way home my ck engine light came on. Put it on diagnostics and it has multiple misfires. Week later oil pressure light is coming on and my roof is leaking! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY PETE! Pete is a liar and his word means nothing. He claims to be a mechanic and does contract work with buddy’s auto but he is the worst mechanic ever or either just a lying con man!
Do not waste your money. They take advantage of unknowing people. I took the car I purchased to another mechanic and they immediately say that “it’s rigged up, we won’t touch it” then you’re left without a vehicle only 10 short days after buying one. Scammers to the community
My son saved for a year to buy his car. He test drove a car that ran and had good cold ac. We bought this car and made it less than 15 miles away. Blown head gasket. These guys rig cars to work temporarily and sell them and they break. Do NOT waste your money here!!!!!!!!
They sold my son a car that had a headlight that was out. We purchased it during the day time and didn't notice that it was out. My son tried replacing the bulb but that's not working. If you want a hunk of junk, go to Buddy's.... I think anywhere else in Waycross would be better for a decent deal on a car that's actually legal to drive.
Don't buy a vehicle from this "business" they're a bunch of lying dirtbags. I bought a vehicle just to get 1000 miles from here, was told multiple times by "Cedric" that "nothing is mechanically wrong with it". This of course was entirely incorrect, save your money and buy from a reputable dealership. The people of Waycross should be ashamed for letting this "business" continue to operate, they are a fraud.
**I am editing this review because it was sent in error from my email account. Let me clarify: I have never bought a car from Buddy's in Waycross. I have never even been to their car lot. HOWEVER, I do have knowledge of this situation. Our son, his wife, and our granddaughter traveled over 90 miles (in a loaned vehicle) after telephone conversations with a representative of BUDDY's) to purchase a vehicle which had been described online. They expected the vehicle to be as advertised from this dealer with disclosure to any defects. Yet, when they arrived, they found that specific vehicle was NOT as described , with a non-functioning window and inadequate AC system. At this point, they were offered a similar vehicle with higher mileage. After discussion and price negotiations, they opted to purchase, with cash, the vehicle referenced in this review. Within 48 hrs, this vehicle completely locked down in the middle of travel with their young child and left them stranded in a rural area. Genuine efforts were made to seek some measure of help from the dealer to have the car towed and checked by a certified mechanic. They were refused ANY assistance at all and were left with towing to get the vehicle safely off the road and protect their child from endangerment by being stranded in a hot vehicle in a rural area. They were also left with the repairs before the vehicle was operable. I concur with the review that this is not the way a respectable, honest, and honorable car dealer conducts business. M.A.Harris**
sold us a car that had a bad short in it.. it shut off going down the road two days later. they claim there is nothing they can do because they say we "bought the car as is".
we are stranded and broke and they have 60 cars and a handful of our money. we have nothing. they don't think they should fix this situation. WE are taking legal action for the various things they did in violation of state and federal law.
so take a lot of time to consider who you buy a used car from, and for sure DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT BUDDY'S IN WAYCROSS!
