Outstanding ???? service and delicious ???? food! I highly recommend the pizza, hamburgers ????, garden nachos ????, any of their wings, and pickle fries! ???? The Elote dip was no bueno. I love Buddies! It's my absolute favorite!
We've been going every week before our grandson's soccer practice in Holt. The kids meals offer a great selection. Everything has been delicious. The patio area is great - shade and sun seating.
They make the nacho supreme in a way that the chips at the bottom stay crunching the entire meal.
Salsa is in tiny cups even when you ask for more.
Was here once in '18 & '19. Stopped in to eat outside on patio b4 Delta Covid is wide spread in Michigan. Learned they have a large screened in patio too. Busy at 4pm on a weekday. Screened patio had several ceiling fans. Got a cold brew, chili w/shredded cheese, burger & onion rings. Shd have taken 1/2 burger hm. Ate too much. Food is excellent here. Burger has grill lines. A very large burger. The waitress was exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and on-the-ball. Unfortunately, no Molson or Labatt brews. Very pleasant visit and excellent food. Shd have taken pictures. The food looked great.
This location is larger than Okemos. Has a large bar seating area. I think the only one with outside dining.
Update: Sept '22. Stopped in abt 2pm, on wkday. Warm sunny day. Sat in screened porch area on Westside. Many tables open. Only 3 being used. Ordered cold draft, chili, and a fresh salad. All were well prepared. Asked abt coffee, waiter person said it could be brewed. Brought it promptly. Rec'd excellent service. Almost forgot to take pictures. The dining area was clean. Restrooms were clean. A very pleasant visit. ????????
Update: March '24. Was here a few wks ago. Sat at the bar in late afternoon on a wkday. Was served by one of two? bartenders. She was grumpy. A youngish, white, short, obese wmn who seemed to take an instant dislike to my presence. She took my drink order and then never returned for my food order. Walked past me to serve other ppl, food as well as drink orders. Very very strange. A nearby couple suggested she might want to ask me abt a food order. So ... she did. Looking very unhappy abt having to be asked to do her job. I thanked the friendly couple for their help. Maybe Ms Grumpy knew them?
Got soup & salad. Both very good. Ms Grumpy avoided me, again, after bringing my food. At bill paying time the other bartender brought & settled the bill. Was a very strange visit. Haven't had that bad a service experience in a long time. Did still leave a small tip. Shd have left two cents. It was very odd, very unpleasant. ????????????????
The food has been great here. The burgers and sandwiches were great, and the appetizers were as well. The service, for the most part, has been excellent. The only semi bad experience was one time we went in to order appetizers and dessert and felt like we were treated less than. It was very off-putting, but not enough to turn us away. I definitely recommend coming here!
It's been a couple of years since I was here last, but wow, was this place great!!! My family and I went here along with some of our friends. The food was awesome!!! I got the Western burger, which was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food. The staff were awesome as well!!! Thank you for the great experience
Waitress took her time and continued to ignore all three of us lady's that were out to enjoy a good taco salad and happy hr.
Good thing we only wanted one drink... Made sure we got it double shot...She was terrible and not considerate at all...
I love the chicken or steak quesadillas it's as big as a medium pizza. It was reasonably priced for the amount you get. They are pretty quick with service and the waitresses and staff are very kind and sociable. I only spent 25 dollars and fed myself and 3 other coworkers.
