I live in West Seattle heard alot about Buddha Ruksa and never went there - well my loss. This place is amazing and my fav Thai place in all of Seattle. They have their traditional Thai dishes like curries and all but also some different menu items which you dont get at other places. We called them and booked a reservation for Saturday dinner. Glad we did cos when we arrived at 7:30 PM their wait time was over 45 mins. We were promptly seated and ordered the following items:
1. Spicy Wonton: Delicious house made pork and shrimp dumplings served with our famous garlic chili oil.
2. Crispy Garlic Chicken and Tofu: This was really good. They serve this as an entree or app both so ask your server about that. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce coating was very flavorful
3. Crab fried rice: The most flavorful best crab fried rice I have ever had. I usually find it to be dry but this place had it perfectly made so much so I did not need any curry to pair it up with. Huge fan of the crab fried rice at this place.
4. 5 Spice Duck Noodle: Delicious egg noodles with five spice duck. This was really good. The noodles had soaked amazing flavors from the sauce and the duck was cooked perfectly too.
5. Vegetable Spring Rolls: Nice crispy fresh tasting spring rolls.
6. Drinks: Blueberry Lemon Drop, Dark & stormy, Tamarind sour & Jan-Hom (non-alcoholic). All the drinks were amazing, tasted great and presentation was on point.
Service was superb. The restaurant has a nice cozy ambience. Food was out in no time even though it was busy dinner time. Parking can be a pain at this location but you may get lucky finding a spot in the residential lanes. All in all I am a fan and I highly recommend this spot for all Thai food lovers.
Great food! Tasty and nicely spice! All 3 dishes ordered were outstanding. Highly recommend the cashew chicken - ticks all the boxes with a 4/5 spice- heat level.
This place lives up to its hype. Honestly I was surprised by the portion size. They are pretty huge. Ordered crispy garlic chicken- it was delicious but could come across a bit oily or too crunchy.
Crab wontons were very fresh and bite size.
Panang curry was very tasty. It doesn’t come with rice. Had to order it separately
Drinks were decent size and good variety.
KHAO SOY was yummy and portion size was big. Basil fried rice was okay.
There was parking on the street but was there on a weekday so was easier to find one.
We had a delicious meal here. It was definitely on the pricey side for Thai food so maybe not the best value, but the quality was high and we were pleased with all three dishes we tried. The crispy duck was definitely a stand-out, and what we couldn’t finish all made for good leftovers. The servers were also very nice, and accommodated our baby with grace.
Went to try this place on a Friday night and was told 45 minutes for a table of two. No problem - we decided to wait.After 45 minutes the hostess told us that there is two spots opened up at th bar and that table would take longer. Strange. That's okay - we did not mind the bar seating. Ordered a curry, pad see eew and a Tom yum soup. Food came out quick - the soup was pretty good had a ton of mushrooms in it. Small portion but good flavor. My pad see eew requested 3 starts out of 4 was barely spicy, had an off after taste.Server was friendly and attentive, we never ran out of water. My husband said his curry was okay. This place is just average.Prices are higher than other Thai places we've ever been so I don't think we will be back to try anything else.
I had only tried Thai food once before and was not too excited about it. Went here for my wife's birthday with family, and this was a great experience. The food was delicious. Our cousins go here often and helped me with menu choices. I was not disappointed.
The server was so nice. This is a family run business. She is currently working 7 days a week because it is so hard to get employees right now. She still had a super friendly attitude and was very helpful

I had the kao mok gai and the crispy garlic chicken and they were both excellent!!! The kao mok gai was especially good, I would give it 20 on 5 stars if I could. Please make it a regular menu item!!!!!!!!
Delicious Thai spot with unique and authentic eats. It’s tough to get a seat here but once you do you can enjoy a wide selection of great dishes. It’s a more expensive spot but a great one for outings and special events. Had the popular Crispy Garlic Chicken and it definitely did not disappoint. The portions are great as well. Staff was friendly, but also very busy. Overall a great dinner spot!
