Grew up going to the Calhoun location. It was an institution. Burgers are still great. Fries are still undercooked like it’s the 90’s. No flavor to the fries. Almost taste as if they even have 0 salt on them. I’d maybe go back.
And definitely know what person at the counter you are talking about from other reviews that is rude and makes you feel stupid for not knowing the numbers. Had the exact same experience.
I never leave reviews but this has to be said. I haven’t been to a buds in years and the food is just as good as I remember. That being said, the guy running the register at this location is a complete jerk. No I don’t know the difference in a 4 & 5 but being condescending to customers who are trying to read the menu and order quickly is just flat out rude. The first time a couple weeks ago I let it go but once again today he was a jerk and when I asked for cheese because I “ordered the wrong number” he handed me a fries container bag with shredded cheese in it like a smug arrogant a$$. Food is great but won’t be back after same experience twice with the same rude clerk.
PS: to the guy grilling the burgers. Appreciate your kindness while I waited man. Sad you aren’t running the place.
The food tastes as good as I remembered. We don't live near a Bud's any longer, and I hadn't eaten a burger for years. Their recipe is the same. Congrats on that!
One issue-- the food was cold by the time we received it. The place was packed. We waited 30 minutes ro get our order. If you have to wait to receive your food, it certainly shouldn't be cold when you get it.
I just love the nostalgia of Bud's. You can't eat a burger unless you eat it on a wooden table with names carved on it!! Good memories.
Great food. Fast service. Reasonable pricing. The food quality has been continuously good over the years.
Burger #6 was so good. Excellent charbroil flavor. Thin single patty with lots of shredded cheese and other toppings. My mom had loved this place growing up and said it lived up to her memory.
Absolutely horrible, the food is messy, the bag is messy. The bread soggy. The money spent on what you get is horrible I ordered two patties only recieved one by the time I got home wasn’t even worth the hassle of going back! To be honest I won’t EVER be going back.
It's a place to get great food! They are quick and good. If you are looking for tasty quick good burgers and stuff...this is the place!
I arrived with a group of 4. After 20 minutes, all of the others received their food and had consumed it. I was still waiting without even a drink. 10 more tickets after mine were called out by the time I made it through the cashier line again to get a refund. I can't make everyone wait for some undetermined amount of time for me to get food and eat on a workday.
