Buck's is little more than a glorified concession stand, but that's okay because you don't go to Buck's for the food, you go for the view. The food is just that extra taste of summer that brings the entire experience into a harmonious balance. It's my favorite view in Chicago.
One of the best burgers I have ever had!!! This place is amazing. And the view is spectacular!!!
Didn't get anything because onions hurt my stomach. She said they don't have time to make custom orders. Get it with the onions.
It's ONE hot dog without sprinkling onions on it. If anything mine would take about 3 seconds off the prep. I promptly left. Would encourage anyone else NOT to give money to this business.
Service was great and the views being by the fountain are awesome. Okay beer selection and the food is just what you would expect. Not much shade at all. I don't know if they add umbrellas to their tables but there were none there when we visited.
Buck's is one of two small cafes located by Buckingham Fountain. The food itself is not wowing (burgers, etc.) and all seating is uncovered and outside. What really makes this fun to visit is the location and the view of the fountain. The best time to visit is on a cool summer evening, right around dusk, for the fountain light show.
The only place to get a burger, snack, drink or ice cream by Buckingham Fountain. Prices are high but not too bad. Lines can be long though. There is outdoor seating available.
No one is wiping down tables, no one is enforcing the use of masks as people order or pick up and people don't wear masks and are disrespectful.
1st time visiting Bucks...the food & awesome view of Buckingham Fountain was amazing!
