BEST REPAIR SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! If you don’t go here I don’t know what you’re doing!! I don’t know anything about cars but I brought my car here and they was honest and patient with me fixing my car FAST! And when the next thing went wrong with my car I took it in and he helped me fix it and answered all my questions!! And told me what I should do next!!! Love this place and 100% will be returning here!!
I stopped by in July and got an estimate. When I went back out was over one hundred dollars more than the original figure. It happens. I didn't have the extra hundred bucks at the time, so I declined the repair only to be told that they had cleared some debris from under the hood and was it worth 20 dollars to me. It wasn't but I paid anyway. For two weeks recently I waited on good ole' Buck to slow down do he could get my vehicle in for major repairs only to be out off again and told that if I would go get the parts maybe he could get a look at it next week... If you don't want my money, just tell me. I could have had my vehicle repaired twice in the time I've waited for you to get it in. I was told on a Thursday that without a doubt they could get to it in Tuesday. Its Thursday...
From now on I'll pass the buck.
Buck has been working o. My car since I got it. He is also my family's go to mechanic. He has even helped me save money on repairs by telling me where I can get the parts for cheaper than if he put in the order for them. Best mechanic, I trust him whole-heartedly to do what needs to be done for my car.
I have been a customer at Buck's Automotive for several years and have never had a bad experience there. They are friendly, honest, fair and competent mechanics. Labor prices are reasonable. Turnaround time is quick too. I trust Buck's Automotive to give me good service.
I had a stripped out bolt during an oil change(manufacturer issue) and took it in there, and they were great. Not only did they get the bolt situation handled, but they also went ahead and completed the oil change for me and did it all very quickly. No wait time, no fuss. Great experience and great price.
Buck took care of my brakes quickly and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. It actually cost less than the low end price when I looked up how much I should expect to pay. He also let me know about an exhaust issue. He doesn't do exhaust work himself, but he gave me a reccomendation on where to go. And unlike the last mechanic I went to, he didn't try to scare me into getting extra work done. Will definitely go back. I have a one year warranty on the work performed today, as well! Could not be more pleased.
Terrible place and very dishonest owner. Very dishonest. I took it in for an oil change and he told me I needed a balljoint. So I took it back for the balljoint and while he had it he burned up the transmission. It worked perfectly when it took it in and when I got it back it would hardly limp around the block. It cost me $1800 to have that fixed at a reputable place. He'd burned it up and the only way to do that is to put it into gear and mash both the gas and the brake together. He burned it up on purpose.
Also, when I got it back 3 of 4 windows no longer worked (he'd gotten into the armrest and unplugged the switches). AND he didn't do the balljoint. I later learned it didn't need the balljoint at all. Do not take your car there!!! Avoid avoid AVOID. VERY DISHONEST!!!
Quick and helpful in explaining what the issues were with my car and took the time to explain why and what to do to fix my car will definitely be going back
