So I was skeptical because I had some bad experiences off Google. The food was actually good and flavorable. The young lady that rung me up had great customer service and I appreciated that. The jerk chicken was sold out so I had the curry chicken and goat soup. The chicken was very tender and the cabbage aye was soo good. The goat soup was a nice flavor as well and I like they put veggies in the soup. I will most definitely be returning.
First time visiting this gem of a spot. The food was well worth it and a must try. I got 2 beef patties, 2 oxtail dinner, they both came with cabbage, peas and rice. I got curry chicken, the flavor profile was unbelievable and just plain delicious ????!!
The dinners were freshly made, you can tell they put love in the food.
The customer service was on point very friendly which I can appreciate that. I look forward to trying more of there items.
If you are in the mood for Caribbean food run to this spot as this is a must try. This is my go to spot for Caribbean cuisine.
Take out spot behind some stores, but just follow the sign. I got the jerk chicken. The kind gentleman asked if I wanted rice and peas, yes, cabbage, yes, oxtail gravy on the rice, heck yeah! Might seem a tad pricey, but portions were very generous. The chicken was moist and tender with flavor throughout the meat, not just the top. Rice and peas were great, seasoned perfectly especially with the gravy on it. Cabbage was also just right. The seasoning was not too spicy, but enough to keep to the jerk roots. Great flavor for everything. I would highly recommend this if you like Jamaican/ Caribbean food.
Delicious!!! Love the vibe, reggae music playing to enjoy while you wait. Everything’s freshly made and the portion sizes are nice and big. The oxtails and the baked macaroni and cheese are my favorite! Try it! It definitely won’t disappoint

Drove 45 minutes to try food from here and they did not disappoint! Being Trini, I'm a bit of a curry snob, I must say the plate of curry chicken was flavorful and on point! Friendly people, good food/portion and music = a WIN WIN for everyone! Thank you!

I was visiting Florida and I was looking for a place that had good Jamaican food, google gave suggestions but you know it’s still up to chance when you pick a place to eat from. I will always come back/send people to try food from here because I got great service coming here and I always like to see my people offering at the standards and better of other restaurants out here. This is my second trip so you know I’m not lying when I say the food is good. You won’t waste your time or money trying Buccaneers ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food is consistently the best Jamaican food you will ever have away from New York/ Jersey or Jamaica. This place is the gem of Jacksonville Caribbean food scene. Jerk chicken always grilled to perfection. Oxtail always generously packed with meat and flavor. Also, Nadia is an amazing highly efficient hostess, you will never wait longer than 15 minutes to receive your food. 10/10
