Let me tell you, this might be one of the best BBQ spots I’ve been to. Definitely worth trying. The staff is amazing and the food is so so delicious. Make sure you try the chicken and dumplings. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy and had great flavor. Definitely will be back again for more. Also try the hush puppies with the honey butter.
I am no expert but North Carolina style should hint of smoke without tasting like it and Bubba-N-Frank’s does it perfectly. I don’t know where my spuds came from but came out hot and crisp and delicious. Unfortunately finding the best NC BBQ means I am limited to the sandwich or the platter haha.
Ran in here to pick up a few sides (fried okra, Mac n cheese, baked beans, green beans) just a pint of each. I ordered at the register and sat down in front of the counter where you pick up when your name is called. There were no other orders in front of mine (could see their ticket screen). I sat for 15min and they completed and called an order for a guy who ordered a burger and fries after I had come in. I stood up and asked about my order and the guy who I spoke too quickly threw my sides into a bag. Will not be back.
I remember eating here a lot in 2022. I think they changed something with the buns since then. They're a bit bigger now but also drier and less tasty. The prices have only been going up since then the last time I checked. The service is always nice though, and they've never gotten my order wrong.
Bubba N Frank's is a local BBQ restaurant that is a little off the beaten path. The pulled pork had a really good flavor and not just a standard smoke flavor. I also got chicken fingers and they too had a really good taste. They serve brisket here also. The sides were OK, my corn was probably left over from earlier but the fried okra was good. Service and the feel and cleanliness of the restaurant were great. I will go back.

Kids under 12 eat free on Tuesdays after 4pm.
I highly recommend the chips and salsa, they are not free but quite good. Excellent BBQ sandwiches. Burgers are good, baked beans are the best side here. They have a loyalty card here as well.
I can't recommend it enough.
They also give military discounts, unlike Mission BBQ which prides itself in being a veteran company.
Ordered the brisket and we was very disappointed was not wort $25. The brisket looked like mush. Will not be going back and it was very cold in there.. I thought brisket was suppose to be like 1/4 inch cut thick my wife through her food in the trash! They just gave me mush with barbecue sauce on it never again!!
Ribs were smothered in sauce and tasted baked in an oven instead of smoked on a pit. The mac & cheese was horrible. The noodles were mushy and covered in a cheese sauce. The collard greens were ok and the hush puppies had no flavor. The banana pudding had only 1 cookie and smothered in whip cream. This place use to have great food years ago but now it's not good and certainly not worth 22.00 a plate. The food quality has to get better!
