I came here while in Tampa. After searching Caribbean restaurants I'm happy I chose this location.. The lunch portion was fulfilling and everything tasted fresh and great.. We ordered Curry Chicken, Beef Stew and a side of Mac n cheese and we enjoyed everything.. If im in the area again I definitely plan on returning!!
We were in Tampa running an errand, so we decided to Google Maps a Caribbean food place near where we were and picked this place from the list. It's a tiny to-go only little place in little strip center. However, the food was Big on flavor and cooked perfectly. We got the lg goat and the lg ox-tail. It was enough to feed 4 people and was delicious. We will definitely eat there again. Oh and I would've taken pictures, but we were eating like pigs before I thought about it!
The food is amazing and delicious. Jerk chicken is definitely the best thing on the menu follow by oxtail. it is always hot inside the store. They need to fix or install AC.
Order window inside and what comes out is amazing. I usually have pictures for these food reviews, but the smell alone had us tearing open the bag. Oxtail was tender and more than delicious. Jerk chicken was incredible. Red pea soup warmed my heart. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Was lucky to stumble upon it while in town looking for something flavorful.
The food is awesome. This is not a dine in establishment, and most often, they're super busy, so be prepared to wait (the food is worth the wait). Two of my favorite menu items are the jerk chicken and the island potato salad.
Food is absolutely delicious I got Large oxtail ,small oxtail, large brown stew chicken. The large meals come with macaroni and cheese and cabbage everything was extremely tasty. The price of the oxtail was very reasonable considering the amount they give you and what other places charge so you just can't beat it I'm from Miami and have been here for almost 2 years this is the best in Tampa that I have tried.
Absolutely the best Jamaican food in Tampa! The jerk chicken is juicy and so flavorful and the curry goat too. My husband couldn’t stop Mmmming while eating. Portions are big and everything, man and cheese, rice and peas, cornbread, cabbage amazing. Last time I had food this good, I was in Jamaica!! So glad we just found this place.
They have the best oxtails I've ever had. The food is always hot delicious and fresh. I try to go every other week or more.
