Best WLM Reviews
We are from Washington state and were looking for a breakfast Spot. Well we found it! The flavors in the shrimp and grits were on point! My wife even tried to get the recipe. This is a very nice breakfast spot with some good offerings on the menu. Some of the reviews commented on wait times and service being poor. This was not our experience on a mid-morning Tuesday. Our server was attentive friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was great as we were able to enjoy a bloody Mary and music while we dined. The food came out fast and was well portioned and presented. Everything was seasoned to perfection and tasted fresh! I appreciate the staff and would highly recommend it as a place to try when you are in town or nearby.
The food was great!! I had the oxtail and grits, side of collard greens and eggs. Everything was really full of flavor, the cheese eggs were good! Not like cheap diner eggs. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the vibe wasn’t as lively as other brunch spots I’ve been to, which could’ve been because we went at 11am which is considered early. The manager came to our table and was really nice, he said it gets more hyped and energetic around 12-12:30pm. They have an MC and everything. I’ll definitely come back around that time and see if the energy is different, but overall 1000/10 experience for my first time!!
Was in networking and scouting locations for photoshoots. We went to Brunch House for Sunday Brunch. The vibe was amazing. Donald(owner) and Hennessy (hope this is the spelling) were amazing and attentive. I had chicken fried lobster for the first time! Loved it. The bar staff made me a great FAUXjito with ginger beer. It wasn’t on the menu. All of that at a great price!
I was super excited to try this place but was let down. I didn’t mind the 20% service charge at all because let’s face it not many tip and if they do they don’t meet the mark but I will say that service was awful. So if you’re getting 20% automatically then I would except at least decent service and no it was not busy. I also asked for a receipt to make sure I was charged properly and they just gave me one with the total ????????
They are a bit overpriced for the dishes so keep that in mind. They were out of ingredients for my drink so I passed on that . Another thing they give you two menus and one is for specials but the prices are the same if not more . So be aware of that. They also include starters on both menus and don’t tell you that they don’t serve them on the week days!
How about a separate menu for the weekends to not confuse customers and keep it simple.
My pancakes were meh and I got the Strawberry Ones 6/10 didn’t finish
Fried green tomatoes tasty but breading falls off and they were super thick 7/10
My friend ordered the chicken wings and waffles and was 7/10 as well.
So would I come back probably not. The environment is cool and music is nice.
This Lil spot was cool. We came early Saturday morning. Our food didn't come out together, but it was fresh. I do like the other brunch spots vibe better. It wasn't as lively as the others I've tried. The berry mimosa was tasty! The server did a great job.
I had a reservation for over 3 weeks for 1pm. My party arrived and was seated at 130pm. After multiple communications with our waiter about the time it is taking to deliver the food. We finally decided to speak to someone in management at 3:07pm. He said he would check on the food and get back to us. The food was definitely not worth any money besides the food cost supply. Overcharged for small, nasty, flavorless portions. This is a restaurant and not club. Way too much focus on the music instead of the business they advertise. Will never return and suggest you cook in the comforts of your house. This "Baked Mac n Cheese" is $10.
This is my first time here at Brunch House. I had seen all the advertising on social media I was a little skeptical about going because I had read the reviews and on a lot of them they complained about the same thing that they were waiting for about an hour to get their food and when they received their food it was cold then there was complaints about the prices. The pictures of the food people were posting that look good so I had to see for myself. I need up going during the week day so that way there wasn't much people there and I must say I was impressed with the food. We ended up ordering French toast with the berries and then the red velvet pancakes and then another order of like eggs and potatoes. The food was full of flavor I think that was probably some of the French toast I have had. It was like a perfect mixture of everything it was delicious and I would definitely go back for more. The red velvet pancakes the red velvet pancakes were just as delicious. The service is great I have no complaints. As far as the price I didn't really pay attention I decided what I wanted and pay the bill when it came as far as I'm concerned if you want good food great service or maybe it's the atmosphere are you looking for which this place they have that upbeat kind of Vibe don't complain about the prices because all of it cost money and if you just want food and a nice quiet place and probably will be cheaper so just remember you are paying for what you are getting. As for myself my friends that were with me we were all completely satisfied I won't go back to try out some other foods so yeah I recommend this place.
Brunch House is situated in the Laveen area. It was pretty quiet during the week when I came here, but it picked up fast. I felt like the waitress was overwhelmed at times, but didn't really show it. She did her best though! The food was the best aspect of this spot. Really good breakfast, and catfish was crispy and grits had good flavor. Service could use some work, but I will come back and support them off the food alone.
