I have been trying smoked white fish all over the state from 906 to below the bridge. Places that used to be my go to store no longer have that authentic taste.

But I have found it here at Bruce's once again. My suggestion is stay away from the commercialized fishery.. go with the small stores..

Excellent smoke fish here. My wife loves it. What you get for the price is good, a lot better stuff here than across the road at the Jerky Outlet.

Spent $100 on smoked fish, dip, and jerky which all tasted fine but I had just as good elsewhere.

Don't go if you'd like to buy fish without being accosted by the owner's extreme politics. I didn't even engage and that pissed him off lol. Jay's is just down the street if you'd like to buy meat without having politics jammed down your throat.

FYI, I was in uniform and perfectly fine making smalltalk but this dude insisted. If hardcore politics at the grocer's is your thing, then this place is for you. But if you're a normal person just go anywhere else; the food is nothing special.

Absolutely love this place, and Owner Bruce was the icing on the cake! Great local store, awesome food and decor. Love love love it!

The elk jerky is amazing. So tender and tasty. Everything else looked good too. Salmon jerky, Cajun smoked shrimp, smoked herring and white fish. Bruce has got the goods!

The smoked whitefish was absolutely amazing!! Alittle pricey but well worth it! Even if you are not a fan of fish like me it was so good and not "fishy" at all! Yum
