I do not recommend this mechanic. Never will go back. My car never had problems until I came here. Trust me if you get one thing fixed, something else will break. All I needed was an old belt replaced and I provided the new one. It ran for a couple days. Next morning I turned my car on and that's all it took for it to come back loose.When I called to ask about it he considered me rude. They make sure you have a reason to come back and spend money.
Jude is an excellent mechanic. Very fair & honest. He stands behind his work too. Had some major motor work done on a BMW & he saved me hundreds compared to the dealer pricing. Car is working perfectly and I couldn’t be happier.
If you have any experience with mechanics, then you know a good, honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold. I know a little more about the workings of my car than the average guy (grew up with 4 mechanics in my immediate family out of state) so when I played dumb and asked a bunch of questions I was amazed to find out how honest they were. Until something changes, I will always bring my car to Brown's and recommend my friends and family as well. Their garage may not be much to look at, but I feel safe there knowing if all I need is a $10 part, that is all I will have to pay for and I won't have to worry if I am making a mistake. Trust is everything.
Mr. Brown retired last year and Jude Polynice has taken over and calls his business Premier Auto Repair. Jude was a real help to us when our minivan broke down last week and the fuel pump needed to be replaced. He was honest and fair with cost of repair and he got us back on the road in just a day. I would not hesitate to recommend his business.
I was a little nervous taking my BMW there. It's not much to look at and smaller than the rest of the guys around them. Once we started talking I realized these guys know what they are doing and take pride in their work. They treat you like a customer nut a number. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the young guy who works there. Didn't get his name but he knows cars and motorcycles inside and out. Highly recommended!!!
This guy had the opportunity to replace my entire gas tank and I never would have known the difference. Instead he was very honest and did a $10 fix that still has my vehicle rolling. He has also replaced an engine and did so at almost $700 cheaper than other places I asked. Great guy! Very Honest.
This guy is about as honest as they come. He'll get you the repair you need, not the repair he can gouge you for. He is known and sought after for that exact aspect, My friends and I have been going to him for countless years. It's true that sometimes he can be curt and to the point. A bit rough around the edges at times. Lol. But he's got a consistently large workload, and for good reason. If you're looking to be coddled. This ain't the place for you. But if you want a straight shooter who will give you the repair that you need, even if you think you need a larger more expensive repair. This is your guy. He's saved me tons of money for stuff I didn't need that other places were trying to scam me for. This place is honest as can be. 5 stars for honesty.
My mother who is senior citizen came here to get her car fixed and they were nothing rude crude and disrespectful. You sit there and try to get someone's car fixed he does business with you all the time and then act like just because she's a woman she doesn't know what's going on. Of course they sent her away saying that there's nothing wrong with the car after she explained to him that the car was overheating. You may have some good reviews on here but this is a big strike buddy.
