Nice modern place decadent food with lots of charm. Many choices of different types of food. I wished i could eat more because i loved everything that came by. Everything looked and tasted so good. The waiters were nice and accommodating. A definite must try.
Best place to eat for brunch, lunch, and dinner in Mission Hills. Great craft cocktails, delicious food and awesome service.
This was a great find for restaurant week 2019. I've discovered a new, unique but casual, dining experience to impress my friends with.
Brooklyn Girl is pretty tasty for brunch and dinner. A bit pricy, but portions are pretty generous. We came for brunch during our last visit and everyone enjoyed their food... Chicken n' Biscuits, Crab Cake Benedict, and Breakfast Pizza. We didn't really care for the Buttermilk Pancakes, but overall pleased.
My gf and I went here for restaurants week..Place was clean and staff was friendly...My medium rare steak came out super rare (which I usually don't mind to much, but this was super bland and burnt on the outside) and temperature wise cold (not even close to warm)...The claimchowder was great so I just dipped my steak in that...Entrees were brought out before the appetizers...Dessert was good...waiter all be nice couldn't stop apologizing for being understaffed (despite seeing tons of other employees standing around)..All in all I had hoped for a better experience for the price...I wouldn't recommend this place nor would I eat here again.
Just visited for the first time last night. Got the Williams burger, clam chowder soup and Brussels sprouts. Overall the food is great here. The clam chowder was a bit on the salty side but the ingredients were very nice. The burger could use a better bun (brioche maybe?) but the meat was outstanding. The Brussels were definitely a new one with Parmesan cheese, bacon and walnuts. The sprouts themselves were perfectly crispy but I personally didn't love the bacon and walnut mix. It was a bit too dry. Daring attempt but I personally didn't dig it.
The atmosphere is very nice and has a bunch of hip decorations, and even for a Tuesday night the place was quietly buzzing. I'll definitely visit again.
The space is beautiful and the portions are generous, that's about where the positives end.
My omelet came out overdone and under-seasoned in addition to ticket times seeming much slower than they should have for a not quite full Sunday brunch service. The cocktails were okay, but certainly not worth the price tag on them compared to some of the other exceptional cocktail menus in the area.
Looking around the room, the pancakes and chicken & waffles looked really good. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I don't know that I'm inclined to go back to find out.
The restaurant is really cute and has nice decor. The hostess was nice and sat us promptly. Sadly, service went downhill from there. Our drinks remained empty as our server addressed tables to our left and right multiple times. Time from when we were sat until we had our food was about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I got the lobster ravioli(32$) and it maybe had two claws worth of meat in it and the pasta was under cooked and over seasoned. Apparently there is a new chef, however part of the disappointment was the service.
