Stopped for a burger and a few beers. Burger looked hand formed and was perfect. Beers were cold. Decor was clean and fresh and I love how the bar was setup. Bartender very friendly and locals were great. I will stop again.
Amazing pizza. Friendly staff and welcoming crowd of locals. Next time I'll stay a little longer to play some pool and browse the gift shop. Ian knows his pounders.
We have been to MANY restaurants and we have NEVER been treated so poorly!!! We had two small children with us (there were ten of us all together)and we had been there one hour and 40 minutes and we still did not have all of our food. Tables around us that came in AFTER us were getting their food so we questioned the waitress (which it was not her fault) and the owner came out and kicked US out because we upset the staff. The owner was the cook and it is not our fault that he could not keep up. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy! When some of the orders came out they were incorrect. We were MORE then patient! The owner humiliated us in front of the whole bar/restaurant and the two small children were wondering what we did wrong for that man to holler at us like that. This was VERY unexceptionable!!! We would rate this restaurant a ZERO and do NOT recommend anyone to go to the Broken Paddle Bar and Grill in Herrmann MN!!!
My family has eaten at the Broken Paddle several times since they opened and have always had great meals and great serves. His homemade pizza is amazing and they have the best wings around. Defiantly would recommend eating there, they do take out orders also!
4 of us from wheaton went on a Thursday night and met with another couple.. food was very good and help was on the ball.. she kept checking on us to see if we needed anything.. yes, we would all go back again.. by the way, the place has changed ownership and is now called 'Big Whiteys.' Try it sometime....
Broken Paddle is no longer the name, Big Whitey's is the name. Good food, reasonable price. Very clean.
Ugh. The ladies who work here are really nice, but the wait is unbelievably long. Then i got a Caesar salad with regular lettuce. Yuck. Thankfully, they didn't charge me for it. If you run out of something, don't substitute without asking your customer first.
