Really great service. Showed up asking for a tire change with no appointment and they had it done within the hour despite seeming pretty busy. Super personable guy at the desk, will definitely be my new regular spot in town for car stuff.
Had a fairly negative experience with this mechanic. I went here to get a metallic grinding in my vehicle looked at and was told it was due to an exhaust shield and my brakes and rotors (which I changed less than a year ago). I asked explicitly if this would fix the issue and was told it would, then paid ~$700 for this repair. I then had to bring the vehicle back 3-4 times after driving off the lot and noticing the sound was still present. Every time I brought it back I was told it was fixed and every time it was not fixed, and I still have the grinding sound in my vehicle today. They told me I had to bring it back to another mechanic because it was a muffler issue (why did they replace my brakes then?) and they couldn't fix it. I told them I was frustrated that they misrepresented these needed repairs and charged me $700 for repairs that weren't entirely necessary for my vehicle. I drove with the mechanic all 4 times and he heard the sound all 4 times so I don't understand what happened here. They then said all they would be willing to do is offer me a free oil change on my vehicle, clearly noting that they made a mistake. I appreciate the sentiment but an oil change doesn't cost $700.
Been here twice, once right before a major road trip. The staff is fantastic, service great, has good communication and are very willing to explain everything.
When I stopped in right before the trip to get my oil change, they did a quick check of all the systems and found the breaks were nearly bad. Despite the late hour they took extra time to get it fixed.
I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to have work done on their car.
I took my car to three different places before here, paid through the nose for diagnosis charges and fixes that didn't address the problem. The guys at Broadway auto took a look at what I'd been told needed to be done next and said that didn't seem necessary, then they fixed the problem. They had the opportunity to do a bunch of expensive work and did the right thing instead. I've only just returned home from their shop, car drives like a DREAM, but even if the same issue comes back, I have every confidence that the guys at Broadway will be able to fix it better and more cost effectively than anywhere else I've gone. Everyone working here is friendly and seems competent, and it's great to have a family business in town. After 35 years of living in Ann Arbor, I think I finally found MY auto-shop.
Came here to rent a U-Haul to move out of my house for the end of the winter semester. It was a really hectic day with many moving parts but Broadway was able to accomodate and help me out with issues I ran into! It was really easy to extend the rental and they just treat customers with respect in general.
Travis and Abe are really nice and patient. And they did a great job fixing my car. The experience is great. My friend recommended this place.
I have experienced a lack of morals and professionalism with their services multiple times. Last time I had my car serviced, they unnecessarily disconnected the radio without permission. When they finally agreed to reconnect the radio, they spitefully detached the arm for the hood of my car. Do not trust their work or character.
Great service, Mechanics are very reliable and helpful! I had gotten a flat tire on a Friday night around 4pm and they got me in asap ! I’ll forsure be back here all day long and recommend people here! Thanks again to the Broadway auto crew!
