Was a great place to rest after driving 17 hours.... Im glad we came across this place when we did.. The gentleman that checked us in was super friendly... The room was nice and clean..... The only complaint i have was the toilet ran all night long making it hard to get to sleep.
Heater was stuck on, dirty comforters (cat hair), grimey floors. I bought a room, then was told to drive down the road to "the only other hotel in town, you can't miss it". Came upon a VERY sketchy looking hotel. Crashed car in the parking lot, dingy paint, general unkept look.
It's the only hotel for like 60 miles, and the mattresses are relatively soft, but find somewhere else if you can
Was making my way to South Dakota and happened to come upon the town of Broadus. After deliberating whether to press on and try find somewhere in another town or not, I noticed there were vacancies at Broadus Motels. The gentleman at the check-in desk (I believe his name was Steve) was very friendly and welcoming. Let me know what the WiFi password was and even told me about a good place to get breakfast the next day (was amazing, so thank you for that!) The room I was given was on the ground floor, just across from reception. It was clean and tidy, with a big and comfortable bed. The shower worked great and although there was a bit of noise from the road (understandable with it being by the road), I was able to get a good night's sleep. The price was a bit more than what I had paid for previous hotels on the trip, but I was just grateful of a place to rest for the night, before going onto South Dakota. Many thanks again to you Steve, for being friendly and welcoming.
We came in late, around 7:30 pm and this was the only hotel that had a room. We were charged $139 for the room. We were sent to a different location and when we entered the room we immediately noticed the foul smell and dirty carpet. Once we started looking in the drawers we found all kinds of old food and snacks filled with bugs. I pulled back the blankets on the bed and the sheets were dirty with dirt and hair. We slept on top of the bedding in our clothes. The shower curtain was black with mold and there was a used bar of soap in there. There wasn't any shampoo or soap available. We found a dead wasp in one of the bath towels. We found the source of the smell was in the microwave with rotten food in it. We talked to a couple construction workers staying there for the last 45 days and nobody had cleaned their rooms or changed bedding the whole time they were there. After having a terrible nights sleep we went to the office in the morning and demanded our money back. The person working acted like this had never happened before, he did apologize and refunded our money.. we're sure someone else had the room rented but wasn't there that evening. As stated earlier the drawers were full of food and dirty clothes. Please don't consider staying here
People are outstanding.rooms are great and couldn't ask for a better area. Will stop by everytime I pass thru.
I have stayed here many times in hunting season. This is a locally owned business run by hard-working and honest Montanans. The rooms are great and the service from the Broadus motels is the best in Big Sky country. I will continue to stay here whenever my travels take me to beautiful Southeast Montana. Thanks to Steve and his employees for always making our hunting trips a fantastic experience.
She is very dated and a little run down but in a small town like this is was clean, affordable, and comfortable.
Steven (owner) was such a sweetheart! We were having trouble with our vehicle traveling/moving across country from Louisiana to Montana and happened upon this sweet little Motel. Steven was very kind and helpful. We did not have a chance to stay in the Motel due to our vehicle being repaired but I cannot recommend this place enough based on the owner alone. The front office where you check in is absolutely adorable and had several amenities that i noticed while being in there. Thank you again Steven, it was a pleasure meeting you!
