This shop is absolutely wonderful. As somebody with ten years experience in the motorcycle repair industry, my expectations on pricing are realistic. 3 times now I’ve taken vehicles to this shop for repairs, and I’ve been amazed not only by the very low cost, but the over all quality and turn around time of each repair. I could not recommend this place enough. Incredible experience every time. This shop is a blessing for vehicle owners in the Alton area.

Shop was recommended by a friend; used to take my cars there as a teen/young adult until i moved to STL. Took my car in for 90,000 mi service and couldn't be more pleased! Explained all services, costs, etc. Fair price, good communication, and the car is running like a TOP! Thank you Bristow's!!

Fast & friendly home town service. Management made a shop bay open when the shop was already full to take care of the service that my elderly mother needed as soon as we arrived. I highly recommend Bristow's. Great service and great home town people.

I needed to get some sensors fixed to pass the emissions test. They were able to give me options to get it resolved and it was pretty quick! Definitely recommend

I've been taking my vehicles here for repairs for years. I like the people, they're friendly folks. But... Not a single repair has ever lasted more than 6 months. Every repair has caused worse issues with the same thing, which I've then had to take elsewhere to get fixed. I'm done with it. I don't know if someone there is sabotaging repairs, or if they're just lazy with their repair work, or what. But I can't do it anymore.

I have been using Bristows automotive for 24 years. I have gotten my entire family to use them too because of their excellent service. They are honest and actually fix anything wrong with your vehicle where you do not experience the same problem again. I will never go anywhere else. They genuinely care and they know more about recalls and your car then anyone else. They do not just fix the problem but do research to make sure the car company isn’t liable. You won’t regret switching to the family run company. the ABSOLUTE BEST in the Alton area!!!
