I haven’t eaten here since I lived here as a teenager 35 years ago and I can say they are every bit as good now as they were then. I loved coming to eat here as a teen.
The hot dogs covered in chili and cheese are phenomenal! If you don’t do that to your fries, you have to go with vinegar on them. Delicious! So glad the wife didn’t eat all of her fries so I can get the vinegar to eat them with. Score!
I've eaten at franchises for Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe but I've never eaten at the original location. I was in the area so I decided to try it out. Fast and friendly service and I enjoyed the hotdogs
Enjoyed the Shoppe since my childhood. My construction company has been hired by the Hot Dog Shoppe on at least four different occasions at their commissary location. The first time working there, myself and employees could not believe how clean the place was. I honestly thought they, knew we were going to be on site. The three or four other times we were there, just as clean. All the food prep they are doing and the entire time, spotless. I mentioned it to the supervisor. He said, the employees take great pride in the operation and how clean they constantly keep it. It was impressive.
Always my favorite stop this kocatiin especially cause they are amazing!
Went there Friday got hotdog. 2 chilimacs and a chocolate shake and they did not disappoint I wish they put one in Apollo lol!
The employees were super nice. We got there like 15 minutes before they closed, and they where extremely cool about it. I've worked the same job in the past, and understand it can be unpleasant to get customers that close to closing, due to having things cleaned for the night already and stuff like that. They had pur order ready really quickly and everything was so good. The restaurant was also very clean. Thank you for the delicious meal, and wonderful service! Keep up the awesome work!!!
I heard about the recent renovations, and I was informed the old tables are being thrown away. My late father's name was inscribed on one of those tables, I would go to this location and sit at that table to feel closer to him, being as he once sat there about my age. I can imagine many other's late family members had a history with those tables. I probably wont go to this location anymore, theres nothing tying me there
Worst chili sauce I've had. Low quality and they barely put any on. Also, the hot dogs themselves are extra small sized, so you basically get a soggy bun and little else. Goes for any Brighton Hot Dog Shop I've been to, can't see why peole give so much praise.
If you are into nostalgia Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe is an institution!
The one I visited just happens to be historic New Brighton Pennsylvania.....
