Can't say enough good things about Brief Escape. Best food in the area.

Food was great. Nikki is a wonderful host. I love all the antiques and everything that's laying around, it's a lot to take in.

Been in Ga for years and never knew about this quaint place. Only 3 items on the menu cooked fresh when you order. Food was excellent, Great peach tea and great desserts all included for a super price. The owner Nikki and the Staff are some of the most pleasant people you will ever meet. Eating here is like going to your aunts or grandmas house for dinner.

Ok, so I was restaurant surfing and I came across this sweet restaurant. People listen to me, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was very family friendly. The owner, Nikki gave me a very loving hug and so I am just saying this kind of restaurant is far and few in this world.

If you want something unusual and a home feeling atmosphere, this is the place. This place is usually packed and you may have to wait. Nikki and her helpers are awesome. The menu changes except for on Monday it's spaghetti with sides and Friday is fish and grits with sides. The other choices vary each time. You may walk in and be greeted and if the place is packed, you may not and will have to wait. The beauty of this place is to think of it as a huge family reunion gathering. Just speak up or go to the kitchen, you will be helped. There is so much to look at here, Nikki knows no stranger. Don't be surprised when you leave you are hugged, true southern tradition.... Y'all come back now.

Excellent food with 4 courses, soup, salad, entree and dessert and service like no other restaurant around. It's a step back in time like going to grandma's with walls full of antiques and what-nots. Much like being at home not some noisy chain restaurant. My son (7) enjoyed reading some kids books that was near by when he finished eating. My family will be back. The owner is so sweet and an awesome cook.
