A shame that so many have left poor ratings. This place is delicious! I had the duck bacon wontons and the prime rib sandwich. The presentation was beautiful and the flavor combinations delightful. Mollie was my server and she did a great job! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
Rather decent food. Service not so much. Atmosphere is enjoyable. Caribou coffee next door and buy some Polaris Merch next door.
My family and I came in tonight for NYE supper. We called at 3 today and made reservations for 630, when we arrived we stood in the lobby for an hour and a half before we got waited on. When we finally did the waiter threw the menus and silverware on the table and walked away. After sitting at the table for 20 mins we finally had our drink order taken. After waiting for drinks they were out of orange juice so I could not get my sex on the beach and then we never got our 3rd Dr. Pepper we ordered so i asked if we could get our pop. After still not receiving 20 mins later they came and took our order. After waiting over 2 hours and everyone who got seated after us ordered the waitress tells us they are out of prime rib and ribs which we had drove 30 mins for. So after getting told we could get ends of prime rib as that's all they had 2 of us ordered that and the other 4 at our table settled for walleye, Alfredo, and crab. After placing our order disappointed after waiting this time 30 mins later the waitress comes back and says they are all out of baked potatoes as well. When receiving my well done prime rib it was bloody and I couldn't eat it as I don't like my steak like that. I told the waitress I couldn't eat it like that and I guess I would have to bring it home and cook it and she said okay sounds good and walked away. Our meal was nothing any of us wanted but we were starving so we had to settle with little to no options. The waitress was rude and did not attend to our table as she should have. By the time we were seating the dining room only had 5 tables besides ours so it was not packed by the time we got seated. I'm not one to complain but I'm so disappointed and starving as I have to wait until I get home to cook my food at 10 at night.
Good atmosphere, service was ok. Only saw the waitress maybe 2-3 times. Took about an hour to get out food and they only had a few tables already seated. Didn't come back to check on us after we got the food. Ordered the prime rib and was horrible, veggies are dry and no flavor. Chicken wild rice soup was amazing definitely recommend the soup!
Waited for 40 minutes. The table beside me was there before I showed up, and after waiting for 40 minutes, after we ordered our food, the table beside me FINALLY got their plates. Put certain ingredients in our food, when asked not to. I’ve only eaten here a few times in my life, now I remember why I avoid this place. The only credit I really can give at this point, is friendly staff and clean environment. We didn’t even think we had cheese for our nachos until we looked at the bottom. We ended up getting our actual food an hour and almost a half after ordering. Places need to stop being called the best, just because it’s a small town and there’s a few select other places to eat. There’s still room for improvement, for any business. But in this case, all parts of the business need some looking into. The staff were friendly, but sometimes that doesn’t do a good enough job to cover up the fact that the business is so “good” because the owner is a well known.
This place has really good food but is a bit overpriced. We will definitely eat there again but just for special occasions.
Really great service and loved the fried pickles and Reuben!
Nice atmosphere, but very overpriced. After 3 times of trying it, I will not be going back. All 3 times, our food was mediocre at best, and the service was very slow. On our last visit, we waited 45 minutes for lunch and our order was wrong. I hoped to receive a discount or an apology, but no such luck. Avoid unless you like paying too much for poor, less than average food and enjoy slow service.
