I was happy, and I was disappointed... let me explain. The "market" part of the store was really cool. The guy taking my order at the counter was friendly. The food that I received was tasty BUT not what I wanted. When I go to a Mediterranean place and order a plate dish, then I am expecting the main dish along with Mediterranean rice, pita, and maybe a small salad. What I received here was a single pita with very little meat topped with lettuce and a side of french fries. Based on this I probably won't return even though the food did taste pretty good, but I can get equally good food in the desired format I want, who wants french fries?
This is a gem in a busy area off N academy blvd. Great Greek food cooked to order and large portions! The wait was a little long but they were busy with take out orders and people coming in and looked like only two people working between kitchen and register. They still had help wanted sign at front too.
We will be back to support this local establishment!
Ordered for delivery, the food is fantastic. Portions are generous and the spices are just right. Looking forward to trying the food in restaurant at some point! Favorites so far are the gyros platter, the spanakopita, and the very strong dolmas.
I’m from Aurora, I almost got some Whataburger. I’m glad I didn’t because the Lamb Gyro and Beef Kabob hit the spot. I’ll definitely have to come here again next time I hit the incline. I almost forgot to mention they got their own little market in their restaurant, I had some Greek chocolate and man that could be very addicting. Overall awesome place, food, and people. Thank you!
Best Mediterranean food in COS. The food was cooked to order and it was perfect in every way. The chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the salad was very fresh. Hummus came with warm pita chips. You can tell that great effort and care went into the preparation at this meal. There’s also a small outdoor dining area. We will definitely be back!
Going to Briar Mart was a very good experience. This was our second trip there. The food was authentic Greek and was very tasty. We all had the Gyros platter that included a great Greek salad with all the trimmings. And the Baklava was just out of this world! Since my son lives in Colorado Springs and we live in Thornton, we don't get to go that often, so we do try to go whenever we go to see him. If you enjoy Greek dishes, this is a very good place to go.
Great cafe / restaurant and mediterranen groceries. Food was amazing! We had the Gyro Plate, Falafel Sandwich and Fries. So good!!! There is one dining room behind the groceries area, with several tables. You pay upfront, prizes are great! The food is fresh and very well cooked, taste is amazing! Service super friendly. Will definitely come back.
We've been going here for years. Owned and run by 2 brothers and a sister. Wonderful taste true Mediterranean cuisine. I only took one photo of the appetizers sample. So good! Try it and tell us what you like best. Also we shared the chicken gyro plate. Took home leftovers for tonight.
